No Tails No Buy.

And even if I was going to buy I'd definitely be conflicted between HD + online for 360 vs controls + offline party fun on Wii.

Ah hell, this is probably the one multiplatform game I'd go with Wii...

While I'm calling stuff I'm gonna call some playable characters

Because of their involvement with the previous Sega Superstars title:

NiGHTS
Axel - Crazy Taxi
Billy Hatcher
G (or other AMS agents) - House of the Dead
Akira - VF

More speculative guesses:

Tyris Flare - Golden Axe (for the tie in)
Chu Chu Rocket - Don't ask me how but..,
An additional Sonic character.

I would say moreso than any other "unannounced" character at this point, NiGHTS is a firm lock. The rest is just a gamble, but I do hope it's not overly Sonic-heavy.

^Let's hope they include : Ryo, Ren, Shenhua, Lan Di, Nozomi, ect. from Shenmue. What is the chance of any Shenmue characters appearing though? And how about including you, Segata?

SEGA and I have been trying to work out a new licensing agreement for years. They know I can bring them the bucks if they sign me.

I do hope they include Ryo and Lan Di so that we get some closure on Shenmue, though.

I hold Tails accountable for a lot. I think he's singlehandedly the fuel that drives the disturbing Sonic porn industry.

Not to get off topic here, but I'd like to point out that I have no sexual feelings for any furry animal, I just think his gameplay in Sonic 3 (co op with Sonic) was some of the coolest co op I've ever seen. I've seen some disturbing artwork at deviantart before though, so I can understand what you mean.

It´s a tennis game ripping off some of the best characters and settings of Sega... yaaawn. I suppose that part of the Mario & Sonic deal was letting Sega have a look into the book of the awesome ideas of Nintendo.

Can´t wait for Sega Golf and Sega Soccer.

I will be excited when they do a new Space Channel.

They already did SEGA Soccer. Then Nintendo borrowed it for Strikers.

SEGA makes a great game of tennis, I don't see a problem in doing one with some fanservice in it. At least it keeps Ulala hopes alive.

The chick in the red skirt from Quartet.

So basically it's a Virtua Tennis game but with Sega characters.

I can get behind this. I like the VT gameplay but I hate playing as "real" people.
I may get the Wii version if it looks decent(and knowing Sumo Digital it should). If it uses at least some Wiimote style controls it'll get more play in the living room.

Well, Slam did´t have any Sega character, right?

I don´t find any problem with this (and if I did, :lol , who cares?). Is just that I find it not exciting at all and using characters they have completely forgotten for years doesn´t make it any better.
