Yep sega have SHIT LOADS of good characters, and if they were able to spend a little money they could get sparkster and headdy in there too.

Not quite. Just like Gunstar Heroes, Guardian Heroes, and Alien Soldier, Sega owns the IP rights to Dynamite Headdy; not Treasure.

If this game is like Virtua Tennis on the Dreamcast but with Wii controls mentioned then it is MINE! Don't really care for online but it would be a shame not to have it.

Not fussed about the characters but the environments look nice so even better. Just so long as it plays as good as VT!

Guilty Gear and...uh...well, Guilty Gear. I think they made Galerians too, but nobody remembers that.

Anyway, Alex Kidd is one hell of a good sign and really makes me feel better about this game. I was just worried they were going to continue the usual Sega practice of ignoring everything they made pre-Dreamcast. I hope we manage to get one or two other retro throwbacks in there (TJ&E!), but things are looking good already. I am still a bit miffed that they wasted a character slot on the female Monkey Ball character, though. Did we really need more than one Monkey Ball character?
