I really like the print. Also great place.

So the way my house works; everything upstairs is basically my wifes/kids space. This is where everyone who visits goes, and looks like a fairly normal house (though since my wife is also a gamer, we do still have game related stuff up there too).

But downstairs...that's my area. It's where I do my gaming and what not. I just got the final touch (the coffee table) for Christmas this year, so the room is pretty much done now. So here it is all up to date.

So, I'm moving next month to LA, which means this awesome set up is coming down. It's sort of depressing taking it all down. Once I get settled in the new place, it will be time to rebuild! But at least it's immortalized in these pics.

Before even looking at the username I thought "This looks like the game room at Santa Monica Studios" lol

We've had this thread bookmarked since it began, so we'll finally enter the ring with our beloved nostalgic throwback game rooms here at Santa Monica Studio. These rooms have history, A LOT of it.

A few consoles, and that is the non-$60 Nintendo, old school now =)

This corner can't escape the 80's, and it never ever should

It's a cozy room, maybe a yule log or two could spice it up even more

Seema like a lot of you - more than I expected - have opted against wall mounts. Any particular reason why? Any advantage? We're looking to mount ours and even have the cables running through the wall.

Nice lighting. What's the standing lamp in the corner?

Here's my setup, got my TV with consoles, and mine and the wifes workstation. Do you guys have ideas on what's the best method, type of product to buy for clearning up those cables behind the PC? Thanks.

Need tips on how I can clean it up in general, it's way too messy.

I've just recently upgraded my television to the LG OLED 65EF9500. I'm not interested in HDR until Marantz or Oppo release a 4K Player. I'm going to be skipping on the Samsung and Panasonic units for the time being.

I also upgraded the home fitness center, my cycling and running session is in full swing.

sorry for the poor quality image.

Here is my setup, nothing much change from the beginning of the year, I'd just realized that I do most of my gaming on iPad, phone, PSVita and iMac these days, so I invested in a really good headset (B&O H7).
My living room with xbox one and ps4 nothing fancy, but space is a premium here.
I think I will change the TV soon.

I'm looking into curved screen maybe 55", some advice on it, is it worth it ? thanks.

Curved screens are not worth it, buy a high quality 4k flat panel and save some dough.

Can you guys recommend me a good monitor that I can use with my PS4, MacBook, and Windows laptop? Right now I'm looking at these three options:

Dell Gaming S2716DG 27.0" Screen LED-Lit Monitor

https://amzn.com/B0149QBOF0

Dell Computer Ultrasharp Screen OLED Monitor

https://amzn.com/B00P0EQD1Q

Dell S2715H 27-Inch Screen LED-Lit Monitor

https://amzn.com/B00M9B3XZW

I want something simple that matches the clean design atheistic of my space (i.e. no chunky bezels or colorful accents). Does the first monitor seem like overkill for my purposes since I'm not doing any PC gaming? What about 4K monitors? Are they even worth considering or are the limitations too great? Is there an ideal size for close distance gaming? Is 27" perhaps too large? Any input is welcome.
