Chiming in to say thank you thabiz. I'm fairly certain (touch wood) the 305.67 revision has cleaned up 99% of my day time stuttering. I get very, very slight irregular stutter for a single frame every now and then, but it's the usual game jank I expect. The consistent day time stutter has otherwise been completely fixed, at least for the areas I tested it in. I still get a FPS drop, as expected, from the shadows/lighting, but no more stuttering.
Cheers for that.
Oh, and if it weren't obvious to people already, use the nVidia control panel or nVidia Inspector to find the Sleeping Dogs profile (exists on 305.67, but you'll have to make your own with an older version like I did) and enable 16x high quality anisotropic filtering. Sleeping Dogs doesn't appear to use any. It was the first thing I noticed when I started playing and immediately forced it. Cleans up textures beautifully.
Yep. Go
