I'm sticking with a stage, Kirby specifically, since it's now been 15 updates since the last stage. By comparison, 11 since the last music, 10 since a final smash, 9 since an item, 7 since an assist trophy, and everything else is pretty recent.

I'd rather have music, but stage seems like the safest prediction.

oh, totally agreed. Could never figure out how to properly control that floaty motherfucker. And honestly, with the Pokemon Trainer, Pikachu and a bunch of Pokeballs already in the game, Brawl has had its fair share of Pokemon. Enough is enough, although I just know that they'll include yet another Pokemon as a hidden character or something (or two, if we're unlucky).

I think one day we'll see the inclusion of major mascots like Rockman, Zero, Sonic, Tails, Knuckles in the series. This time we might only have snake.

They had plenty of time to work on the game so if he's in then they probably changed him.

The biggest chance for third party characters are still Megaman and Sonic, imo. A smaller chance is one of the SNES era S-E characters. Doesn't even have to be from a Final Fantasy, although that's pretty likely, if S-E really does it.

Although... doesn't Nintendo have pretty close ties to Scamco (bought Monolith from them, Mario Kart Arcade done by them)... so maybe one of Scamco's characters is in as well.

While that's all nice and good, I think a decent player could easily cut through the 'combo' chain and destroy Mewtwo.

Although I had never realized how good Mewtwo was at edge hogging.
