Sony tweets "Portable Gaming Perfection"

Aye, saw it posted in the PSN thread.

Much as I hate to admit it, they know which way the wind is blowing. Tablet + controller has a future, dedicated handhelds don't.

It's as telling as Delsin Rowe whipping out his smartphone to play a game in Second Son.
His head smashed in and his heart cut out and his liver removed and his bowels unplugged and his nostrils raped and his bottom burned off and his penis...

Shit, I wasn't the only one that thought that when that happened in Second Son? Sigh.

I expect this from third parties, but not from Sony themselves.

Guys Sony wouldn't just give up on their handheld! They've got plenty stuff to show off at e3 I bet! Right? Right??

:(

Between that being considered "portable" and phablets, I'm even more positive the mobile scene went collectively full retard.

As good as PS4 is doing right now, the VITA is doing about equally as bad.

Still, I need to get an OLED unit before supplies are exhausted and the price goes way up as the LCD / 2000 model rolls out pretty soon.

As someone who is interested in a couple of games but is waiting for either more games or a significant price drop to finally pull the trigger on a Vita, this is not encouraging at all, Sony. At all.

Oh well, at least I'm loving my PS4.

Thread title should be updated to "Sony RETWEETS Sony Xperia" Because that's what actually happened here. They are just helping out another part of the company, nothing to be upset about.

They should put the vita chip in there next tablet...and don't blame some Sony guys for hyping up a tablet...blame the world for not buying more vitas!!!

It will forever be a slow burner unless a mh like situation happens and a 3rd party title blows up on it...

That guy looks super pumped to be looking at a loading screen.

Also, yayyyy Twitter. The continual automatic foot-in-mouth machine of social media.

*clutches Vita*

This.

My 3DS/DS backlog is huge and I'm waiting a Vita price drop to 99-120€ until I get one... maybe. The system's future doesn't seem to be too bright, but I'm not following Vita news that closely, though. Atleast the games are cheap, but PSP selection is lacking (I never owned a PSP).
