Good balanced E3 summary from the teraFLOPS here. https://youtu.be/BEJilW0LNjQ
Which wall running? The one where he runs up the building to the helicopter or the one where he runs along the side while chasing it down?I know you have plenty of development time left, probably another year, but have you guys thought about taking another look at the wall running system you currently got in place? And how the camera doesn't really work well together with that mechanism? It looks very unnatural, while in Spider-Man 2 it was much more of a fluid thing.
Oh yes, a hero with one of the better rouges gallaries in comics period and just use the same villains because people are unimaginative or boring amd only want the same peopleI hope so, because these post-2000 characters are rather lame
Mr. Negative? pffff
They gotta have Venom and Vulture for dat brand synergy.
I never understood why he wasn't used in a movie could be the coolest thing ever seeing his stuff in action hope he's in the game Spider-Mans riddler in a wayonly way i want to see vulture is if they go full sinister six cause if my boy mysterio isnt in imma be mad

That actually would be a better comparison thinking about it...o man plz be incan do a bunch of scarecrow type stuff with him as well
Both are weird but the vertical run is the worse offender... would almost call it bad.Which wall running? The one where he runs up the building to the helicopter or the one where he runs along the side while chasing it down?
or go suicide kings and make it spiderman, deadpool and dare davil
Yoshida talks about the demo here
https://youtu.be/eirObauHR94?t=151
He talks about how he's played the demo multiple times and each time he takes a different route. He also points out that even in the building you can take a different path and that people will be surprised at just how flexible the systems are in the game.

iirc, the demo is running on PS4 Pro and on 4K, am wary of my OG PS4. :/
I'm hoping and want to see:
Venom
Hobgoblin
Ock
Mysterio
Lizard
Scorpion
(Lady lol) Kraven
Sable

What's with all the villain cast lists here that cover every major villain Spidey has? I'd rather see them focus on 3-4 villains properly instead of sending in 15 half-assed ones.
Give me: Mr. Negative, Kingpin, Mysterio and one of the big ones (Vulture, Doc Ock w/e) + have them evolve over the course of the story.
That's what I liked about the older games, they didn't crush you with too many villains like e.g. TASM2 did.
I don't want to see Venom, any Goblin, Electro, Kraven, the Lizard or really any major villain we had in the last few years in this. Spidey has one of the best rogue galleries out there, why keep reusing the same villains 24/7. I totally support Insomniac for going with someone like Mr. Negative.
game director said they had a large cast of villains in the game so i am assuming by that they are going the arkham route where you have a handful of main villains with a large selection of side mission villains
Well lets hope then they do them justice. I'd hate to see something like TASM2 where it's literally a single mission with them. Arkham series did it nicely with investigating and getting to know the villain. But I don't like the idea of having someone like Venom show up as a side mission villain. Too iconic to be dealt with in a handful of quests imo.
Still no fan of a bloated villain cast list though but we'll see how they handle them.
That Bryan guy from Insomniac says he plays the game on his OG PS4 all the time at work and it plays good on there too (probably 1080p/30fps instead of 4k/30fps).

The combat was nowhere near as fluid in the beenox games, I played those games a lot sadly, and what they've shown looks markedly better. I don't get that criticism at all.
Where are the people?
I was initially really underwhelmed by this gameplay reveal as it just reminded me so much of Beenox's games from mechanics down to animations, but as I re-watched it at higher fidelity I began to appreciate the polish a lot. I guess I did tell myself playing ASM2 that if they gave the team time to cook their games could rival Batman's. I guess this is what that potentially looks like.
My only concern at this point is as the player I want to be able to let goons fall to their deaths. Nothing more satisfying than webbing a guy towards you and then matrix dodging him as he fell off a rooftop in Spider-Man 2.

seeing all the different traversal styles and swinging down into the city was pretty rad too.
some of my favorite things demo players have done include setting the web trip wire on the back of an Inner Demon, so it trigged when another Inner Demon walked by and webbed them both down together. Also setting that same trap up high and knocking an enemy into the air and then seeing them get pulled to the wall.

2/7 chance it was the weekend.
and the odds are even higher if you account for holidays

I know you guys have talked about this extended demo that's shown on the show floor. I'm not asking for a date or anything like that, but will us at home get a chance to see it at some point?
the game in general looks way more fluid and smooth than any other Spider-Man game
and that INCLUDES Spider-Man 2 goddammit
