Yeah, no. Not going to believe random sources that say it looks that good until I actually see it. That said, I'm somewhat excited, was hoping for a bigger player count for something like this, but it's not bad.


Also not going to get burned by another Dice game at launch. Every time I buy and preorder a Battlefield game all the way to Bad Company, I end up frustrated with huge launch issues that don't fix themselves until weeks or even months after.

Look at any other title... pre-orders start much earlier on PSN than XBL. These are platform holder decisions, nothing to do with purchased exclusivity on anything.

As mentioned by in several of the previews even the 7 minutes Gameplay showcase was fully scripted and non-interactive..so nobody outside of DICE and EA has actually seen real Gameplay footage of the game. And everything shown was most probably captured on PC (yes even if marketing/PR says it's on PS4..which is what the previews have been told).

I posted this is another thread where I mentioned they have Noken on the team (I hope?) who made some absolutely fantastic choreographed trailers for their multiplayer parts of the Battlefield series since BF:BC2. They could have just had him make a multiplayer trailer and hype people up with that.

Probably not.

At best it was pre rendered using multiple PS4s imo (just my guess), like some custscenes can be.

If it is indeed representative of actual PS4 gameplay, well, I'll eat a chocolate hat/ crow (after the Chobel debacle on Bloodborne sales, I'll edge my bets )

PS: I fully expect the PS4 version to be 900p tbh.

Even at 30FPS I'd doubt it, but at 60FPS... no chance.
