It's real, but it was done so early on in pre-production that you may aswell consider it as concept art. Looks to me like it's in a really low orbit around that planet, this could be the location where the Death Star was finished.

They would be stupid not to put him in it, as he is literally the one chasing down the plans at the start of ANH. I think he will show up and dominate the third act.

I know that description is fake because it references Geonosis and from what I've learned from TFA and NeoGAF, Disney HATES the prequels enough to never talk about them again. They wouldn't dare reference something "the flanneled one" did to ruin the franchise.

The new in-canon books (specifically Tarkin) describe that the Death Star is being built at Geonosis.

Bothans were a very large part of the EU, with a very distinct look and traits. I don't think they were ever given any kind of cannon description, so 'Bothan' could mean anything nowadays. It may not even be a species anymore (though that would be silly).
