Damn you all, since I discovered steam I've bought too many games that I don't have time to play, Civ 5, EU3, X3, ...

When I get home I'll buy Machinarium.

If you donate more than the average purchase at http://www.humblebundle.com/ you can get HIB#2 that includes Machinarium and HIB#3. Both are steam redeemable.

Edit: average purchase is atm $5.16

That what I found on internet. Can't say that I trust the source (hint: i don't), but god, I want it to be true so much!
upd: looks like this shit is for real.
And I just found out that PapPal is planning to open their office in Russia this fall! SUPPA COOL! What a wonderful end of the world summer!

I know, but I didn't realized that and already bought HB3, can I buy it again?

Do they send 2 codes? one for HB3 and another for HB2? because I already have HB3.

Of course, just use another e-mail. Donating is always a good thing.
Some Gaffer said you'll receive 2 codes; 1 for HIB#2 and 1 for HIB#3.

They added HB2 to all clients that got HB3 before that particular promotion started, so just check the link they sent to your email when you first got HB3 to see if they added the bundle.

You are right, it's on the link.

Thanks !

for anyone thinking of buying limbo, I just finshed it, so I thought id tell everyone how it was, the visual and audio are fantastic, atmospheric and cool, the puzzles are nothing special, some are ok, but a lot of them require dieng first, which I didnt like much.
the biggest problem is length, after finshing it my time played was on 3 hours, and while I dont know exactly how long it was, I doubt it took me more the 3:15 hours from start to finish.

so, value isnt great, but I enjoyed it enough, its a fun ride for 10 dollars, but waiting for a deal is probably the smart thing to do.

I have a question about EYE, I can't find the OT so I hope it's okay to ask it here. There's a single player, but is it like a full campaign? I've heard the game compared to Deus Ex a few times, but I really can't tell what it is from the videos and description on their website.

$39.99 seems way too good to be true, especially with Brink and Hunted being in there as recent releases. Still, I'm pretty down for that.

It's not the actual price, that site seems to pull the info straight from the registry, and the prices there are never accurate.

There's a campaign, yes.

Ahh that makes more sense then, thanks for the clarification.

I know there is one, but there's one in UT3 too, but it's dog shit. Is EYE worth having if you will literally just play the campaign once?

Absolutely. The story is hard to follow so I'm not sure how much you're going to get out of that aspect, but it's a full single-player campaign. It's not an afterthought to multiplayer if that's what you're worried about. There is no competitive multiplayer in fact, just co-op where you play through the campaign.

It's not quite your typical single-player though. You don't save your progress while in a level, but your character is persistent. So for example if you quit in the middle of a mission you retain all experience and money and whatever else you gained, but you have to start the mission over when you go start up again. At any time you can go back to your HQ hub where you can buy new equipment and abilities or take on extra missions.

Does anyone know if Ellen McLain is doing voice work for DOTA 2? She's the voice actor for GLaDOS btw, and has also worked on the Half-Life games.

This showed up http://www.computerandvideogames.com/313940/half-life-star-mentions-valves-new-game/ and I started freaking out and drawing conclusions that she was doing stuff for Half-Life 3.
Yes, her and her husband (TF2 Sniper) are doing voices for DOTA 2 (or did them, I think they finished up last week).

She's also recording new Portal 2 lines

Yeah, I've got 3days of Brink on my Steam account. Confused me actually, I'd just quit out of L4D2 and it popped up saying theres free dlc for your game 'Brink'. Which didn't make much sense since I don't own it.

There also seem to be three different Quakecon packs:

- The "Quakecon Pack" itself, which includes everything by Bethesda and ID, including Brink
- The "Quakecon Elder Scrolls Pack" (Morrowind and Oblivion GOTYs)
- The "Quakecon Doom Quake Complete Pack" (Every Doom and Quake game)

Hmm, why no Fallout pack?

Wooo! Downloading Brink now. Hope it's as good as everyone says it is.

You bought Brink for full price?

Well, good timing for the Brink free weekend, at least.

So, since the TF2 items are never retroactive, that would mean that if I already own the pack I would need to purchase for an item, I have no way to 'buy' the item, and would have to get it through trading/crafting? I really want that Quake rocket launcher.

There isn't a specific Fallout pack listed, but the Quakecon pack includes both Fallout 3 GOTY, New Vegas and all 3 New Vegas DLCs. I assume it will be quite pricey though considering how much content the pack includes.
