One step ahead of ya. The first one had some issues like the uninspired quest design and the so-so combat but if the sequel really is better then it should be a good purchase.

Started Critter Crunch today and it crashed about an hour or so in and I lost all my progress because Steam Cloud didn't sync or something. LAME.

Just started Max Payne 2 and it's got horrible jaggies and I'm stuck with a 4:3 resolution. It's got no ingame options to change any of that. Anybody know how to get some AA and custom resolution going? Max Payne 1 was relatively fine so this is just weird.

I've never played a Total War game before but I do fancy strategy games like Civ 4 and what not but TW seems kind of intimidating with the large scale real time battles.

No real aa options past that, you're best off just forcing it in
