When is the third one even coming out? I also have Trails of Cold Steel purchased waiting for me to play 2 and 3. I'm not too efficient sometimes.
Offworld Trading Company and Stellaris?I'm looking for something to scratch my Civ itch, but in space.
Please don't say Beyond Earth...

I thought Cold Steel was a separate series with no direct connection, except being in the same world?
Just finished TiTS and was planning on waiting for chapter 2 getting cheaper on PSN here in Sweden.
Bought Cold Steel in the January sale and was planning to play it now...

Stellaris is the king of space 4X. There is nothing better.
Offworld Trading Company and Stellaris?
Endless Space or Endless Space 2(early access) are pretty good.
Is Arkham Knight worth buying now? It's only $6 and the current reviews on Steam are "Very Positive". I thought they abandoned fixing it up but people are saying it's been fixed to an ok state now. Has anyone played it recently?
Nice, both are great. Honestly those two are my favorites in the survival genre
I made a thread about Subnautica a while back, a lot of impressions from GAF there

The Long Dark is the polar opposite, pun intended. It's perhaps the purest and most realistic of the genre, outside of simulation/roguelikes, and the strongest gamification of man vs nature I've seen yet. The dangers aren't mobs. It's getting lost in a blizzard, it's freezing to death from hypothermia, it's falling through thin ice. Just surviving a harsh night feels satisfying. The latest update added a ton, such as frostbite and a layered clothing system.

On Stellaris, is the Nova edition worth it for the extra race? Also, opinions on the DLC's?
No, there are definitely connections. While you can understand the plot of Cold Steel 1 and 2 (hard to say about 3 yet) without having played the Sky games, they do spoil the Sky games (including SC) a good bit, and there are some subtler things you wouldn't pick up on without playing them.
Definitely continue with Sky and play SC before Cold Steel, and if you're willing to wait a few more months, play The 3rd beforehand as well.
The Cold Steel games are also intimately connected with Zero no Kiseki/Ao no Kiseki (tentatively Trails to Zero/Trails to Azure). These games have not been announced for localization (at least not yet), but the fan translation project for them is in very good hands.
Uh no, same world, same timeframe. I would say they are fairly related. You can probably think of them as arcs.
Not sure how you can take finishing TitS and not moving on to SC, lol.
The answer is always TitS.
But in all seriousness, they are very different beasts. Trails has amazing world-building, story and writing, with servicable turn-based gameplay.
Zestiria has really awesome action-RPG combat (although it is most definitely over-complicated with subsystems and subsystems and it's something that needs a fair bit of practice and memorizing all your stuff, which can be a turn-off if you don't want to put the work in), whereas it's story is just servicable. Characters and their interaction were pretty fun, but they're also really anime.
Also the whole skill and equipment system is shiiiiiiiiiiiit. Would pay for a mod that removed that garbage.
Or I'll just wait for Berseria which seems to be all the good things Zestiria did done better and without the bad parts.
It depends on what you want, but TitS is most definitely the better game overall.
Thanks for the answer (and sorry for the late reply). The problem I have with TitS is, that I am scared to get into such a big game, with lots of reading. It's not that I have problem with something like that, but that I don't have that much time in the end and I guess a game like Zestiria is better if I play it iregulary and not in such huge time chunks, or am I also wrong here?

Ok, asked the question in a PSN thread where I got the answer that they weren't that connected...
I'm a really really cheap arse gamer...
Haven't erased my game from the memory card so I can transfer the save, whenever that happens.
Let's see if Sky chapter three will ever get released for the Vita.
Might have to find them in a cheap sale on PC instead then. But that will not be the same as playing it on a Vita.
RedoutLooking for a good arcade racer. Any recommendations?

Does Quantum Break Steam version support DX12 now?

Tizoc you scrub, go buy a real man's fighting game and stop ducking.
Is it based on the Sword Insult Battles from Monkey Island?
Bought Resident Evil 7 and expected 6 trading cards for that but I got none?

I wonder what the game being offered in the new Monthly this Friday will be....
EDIT: Yo this theme is still menacing 15+ years later.

I think it's the Friday after, 11 days to go.
Oh did they confirm that?
Any hidden gems in the roguelike sim niche? Basically stuff akin to Caves of Qud, Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead, and Dwarf Fortress. Not management, but controlling a single character in a dynamic world, a lot of overlapping systems, etc. I already know of Project Zomboid
Okay so I bought Shadowrun Returns ages ago put two hours in and got distracted. I will go back to be eventually. I have Dragonfall already to go for after. With Hong Kong on sale should I just grab that too?
Or maybe I should wait to see if I actually like the games first as two hours isn't much to base a strong opinion on I guess.
It ran great for me on a 980, pretty much 60fps everywhere. Really enjoyed the game as well. It's a steal at $6.Is Arkham Knight worth buying now? Btw does Arkham Knight season pass come with every dlc?
Including story?
