Ok, so let me summarize because it's been a confusing few weeks with Stranglehold.

So, there's the 360 and PS3 version. Both have a standard and CE, in which the CE 360 version has Hard Boiled on DVD, while the CE PS3 version has Hard Boiled on BD. All versions of the game on 360 and PS3 are region free. Is this correct?

What's with these PC games that require 2 GB minimum but run on the 360's 512 MB just fine? There's not that drastic a difference.

There is no question about it, it has been confirmed many many times over to be a completly new HD encode

i dont believe the 360 version includes hard boiled, and i dont think anyone knows for sure, but speculation is that it is the superbit dvd quality

edit... really? i thought i was just reading the other day that no one still knows for sure if its an HD encode, and the wording they use suggest its an upconvert. If it is a brand new HD encode i will instabuy

I realize the PC version will have multiple texture packs (including higher res textures than 720P), but 15GB makes it seem like no attempt at compression at all was made.

I need a new PC for stranglehold too.

PC version will be $29.99 in no time. PC bringing next gen on the cheap. Plus mods. The Neo mod for Max Payne rocked.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and especially Oblivion, but yes this game will probably have no mods worth the time they take to download

Those games didn't have a very wide fanbase on the PC. The PC mod community can be a little snobbish.

Well max payne 1 & 2 had a decent mod community. I could see people getting behind this game (assuming its good) and making some great mods for it. You already know theres gonna be a matrix mod lol, whatever else people come up with should be great though. The kung fu max payne mod was a lot of fun.

Actually, I decided a few months back that maybe upgrading my computer would be a good idea. I opened the case only to find everything was -- I do not kid -- welded in place by metal bars around the graphics card, HDD, power supply, etc. Yeah. I suppose I deserve that for buying a computer from Acer (When I was 12, six years ago).

But I'd have to assume console supporters aren't as moronic as myself. (For the sake of it all, my PC has less free space than my Xbox. Go figure.)

It is a golden age for PC gamers. All the technological improvements in pre-built desktops are wasted on most consumers, but a gamer can buy a bargain bin PC, slap a video card in it, and have himself a gaming rig.

Is the only difference in the 360 CE really some 'making of' disk? Coz that sounds a bit lame, I'll go regular edition if that's the case.
