I got in yesterday morning, 1130BST or so for around 20 minutes. I had 4 fights as Nash (3 wins and a loss) before I lost connection.
This was on my UK PSN account through the EU beta. Dunno why it let me in.
That is pretty bad tbh. But I guess the game would turn into Marvel if his teleport only took 1 bar. and build up has fast as it does.
I didn't get in last night though after trying for 4 hrs so maybe that one was US only?
It's already extremely powerful and useful as is, it would be broken if he could do many of them.

There were a few EU GAF people who got in and the #whitelisted Alioune lolol
So from reading earlier Canadians can't get in? That explains why I couldn't get in all day. Really dumb if that's what they're doing since they keep saying it's open to north America and then exclude half of it.
If I make a US sub account will that work? Will I need to sign up for ps+ on it?

I saw other people saying it was workin for them w/o ps+ but I don't know for sure.
I was able to play on a dummy US account with no ps+ from the UK.
edit: Only got in Sunday morning however.

I'm in the uk and was lucky enough to play about 15 minutes of the game this morning at around 7:45am BST. I loved what I played, and was impressed with how cool they've made birdie in this game, even if I didn't know any combos and just his basic moves list.
To clarify I have plus on my Canadian account.
Nothing on SF twitter feed so far sadly
Still under maintenance.
I don't think anything counts till it's actually a worldwide thing but I could be wrong
I got in yesterday and got a few matches in and I'm in Canada and using my Canadian psn account, so I don't think they are blocking Canadians unless I just got really lucky and they goofed on their end.
where in Canada? I've yet to hear of anyone from ontario/quebec getting in.

I don't think anyone should mind the blocking thing, maybe some people are able to connect faster or something but the whole NA only thing is certainly not true.

It really was just a battle of attrition, as far as i could tell. Without the turbo button, I would have never survived clicking through 100+ times. Having my heart stop every time the 'logging into server' box came up would definitely not have been healthy for body or mind. The downside is that now I have a shitty hrap4 that I paid overnight shipping for. I mean it's not the worst, but it feels really cheap in comparison to the madcatz sticks.

So use it to mod your current stick.
It's 25 on Amazon but they had a Prime Bundle with the game plus 3 months PS+ for 35 on Prime Day and now I'm hesitant. Shouldn't there be a SF on PS3 PS+ by now though? I could play that with the DS4.

my current stick is already dual-modded for ps3 and 360. I bought the ps3 mod part myself but had to get someone from gaf to actually do the mod for me cuz there were like 30 reeeally tiny wires. I'm not a complete EE scrub either, but the number of small wires i was sposed to work with was just an immediate "nope!" (well not immediate...i'm sure i spent many frustrated hours trying to do it on my own).
I have to imagine taking the ps4 part out of the hrap and dropping it into the TE isn't super easy. or is it?
Many thanks to GAF member akuma001 btw, who actually did the mod for me. I love my dual modded Femme Fatal TE and it has served me well since 2009

I think SSFIV: AE was on PS+ at one stage. 25 is still a great price for what you are getting.

The HRAP4 Kai? Thought the Hori sticks were pretty decent, on the same level as MadCatz but it all comes down to what you prefer sticks/buttons wise.
Weird, I don't have it in my download list. Must have subscribed to PS+ at a later point then. Well, seeing how SFXTekken would be the only alternative, I'm definitely going to get USF4 for PS4 instead. And maybe a cheap stick to try that out as well.
Maybe we're just to far from the server so other get in before us. Still I've seen some Euro and Asians get in on us accounts so its worth a try. Better than the 10+ total hours I've tried and got nothing.

The HRAP4 I'm using is awfully squeaky, the buttons are terrible.

It's not that bad. I mean, miles above the hori ex2. But like...it just feels cheap. The sound it makes when you move the stick and hit the buttons is a real hollow "clack clack clack" (a little bit like the SE sticks) whereas the TE feels solid as fuck. And yeah I am pretty used to the sanwa parts, but i think its the actual plastic shell itself that's bothering me.
Or maybe I have been brainwashed by Mark

Yeah I was looking at reviews for it and that was a problem in some. I think I might just hold out for a TE2 instead.

Hey Capcom,
The T.E 2 has issues as well with build quality someone just needs to go look on SRK to see how many people complain about the top plexi or other gripes.
Sadly at this moment there is no PS4 stick I'd be happy buying. Might just mod my B15 with a PS4 PCB. At the moment I'm using a full modded Atrox and doing the PS360+ PS4 (reset every 8 mins) to play SFV.

I prefer sanwa buttons as well.
I haven't tried any of the new Hori sticks yet, the only one I've ever used was a HRAP2 lol.
But yeah, I've always used a TE stick since SFIV but I was thinking about getting a HRAP4 Kai because the availability of the TE2 for PS3+PS4 is crappy over here. Or I have to ship it from JP/US to here, but I want it delivered within one day.

I'd recommend holding out. I'm a terrible impulse shopper though and when I heard ps3 sticks werent supported for the beta i rushed to amazon. But the only ps4 madcatz sticks were all jacked up user-sold prices, except for the preorder for a new run that ships Monday.
But I didn't wanna wait till monday! I wanted to spend all weekend playing the beta! (lol)

Ultra's don't exist no mo and parrying don't work like 3S no mo either. It's hard to punish after doing a parry because you actually have to w8 for the recovery frames to finish. So no cancelling a parry into a move, unless it's another parry.

Gotta say, the game is definitely beautiful and was great fun. Couldn't wait to try my luck this morning..unfortunately, it's down for maintenance. Have only played with Nash and Birdie, which both seem great. Tried Cam for a couple, but wanted more Birdie..
Nope:
- It has an animation, punishable on whiff
- It has recovery, so can't punish on successful parry as easily as 3rd Strike
- There is only one parry, parries both high and low
- No air parry
