yeah on that face book group we got 36 members at the moment and most of them won on Monday. There should be just under 100 vita being given away every day so if everyone that claims to have won then is telling the truth then a pretty good % of the Monday winners were skipped.

Goddammit, there should have been a winner by now! There hasn't been a winner for 21 minutes, therefore somebody--possibly two people should be winning any time now.

Edit: 23 minutes after the hour and we've got another winner! We're getting closer to nailing it at least! Now there should be another winner if this theory holds... *waits*

I think this problem is mostly affecting people who won in January.

How are we closer to nailing it? The theory is there's one for every 15 minute period. TWO 15 minute periods got skipped with no winner, even though I entered mine at like 1:14 CST. That right there means there's no sure method of winning. You don't know what time periods or gonna get skipped, or if you're gonna just not win for no reason. I'm a little bitter now, I admit.
 
Laaame. I can't fucking stand their food. Plus I'm on a diet, so I'd prefer not to eat there, but I really want to win. I might just give the food to my mom lol.

Just ask if they have the actual box first, broseph. They obviously don't have an unlimited supply. If they don't have one for you, that's just bad luck, not really Taco Bells fault.

Just from what I've seen, when one time period gets skipped about 7-8 minutes after the next time period is almost guaranteed a winner. This, however, is just my experience from studying this shit for the past two hours. Of course, it's not a guarantee... just a higher likelihood. I don't blame you for being bitter. I only tried it once, but failed. :(

Yeah, that's what I did. I even waited a little longer, I waited 13 or 14 minutes after a skipped time period, haha. I'm actually sending an email now. Not super pissed or demanding a Vita or anything... but I honestly feel like I got screwed a little bit. Just a little.

10:00 - Winner @ 10:03
10:15 - No winner
10:30 - Two winners: 10:41 and 10:42
10:45 - No winner
11:00 - No winner
11:15 - Winner @ 11:23
11:30 - No winner
11:45 - 4 Winners @ 11:56, 11:57, 11:58, 11:59

Double Edit: Looks like for each time there wasn't a winner, it was all made up within that one time bracket. Holy fuck. Shit is getting confusing lol.
 
I'm starting to think the counter doesn't exactly coincide with the winners. Heck, maybe the counter ticks upward completely independently of the winners.

I mean, we haven't had a winner claim a win and assure us certainty that the ticker went up when they did, have we?

Fascinating. I remember reading that someone on the CAG forums won at precisely 12:00 AM PST about a week ago.
 
I feel like you guys are wasting your time.
Obviously if there is a long period of time without a winner there is a higher and higher chance of winning.. but you can never be sure about when to enter your code.

It's a LOT of luck and a little strategy..

I think the best way to do it would be to get 10 or so codes and hammer away once there's been a lot of down time.

I wish i would have saved them all instead of using them sporadically.
 
ugh. i won from the android app but when i tried to submit my information it said no connection to the internet. so i tried to turn on my wifi and fucking app restarted :\
 
Actually from what I heard the actual app is glitched. I've seen a few people complain on the taco bell fb page with the same problem and they were connected to the net. They aren't even doing much about those that entered in their info and never got verification though so might be awhile if at all if something is done about it. The group of people on facebook that never got verification has 40 members now.
 
I'm very disappointed that it seems they have changed how the winner is determined and the timing.

Perhaps they saw the strategy being posted all over the internet and decided to change it to keep it more randomized?
 
Man, I went to the Taco Bell near me to get one just now, and my stuff was in a plastic bag. When I asked them why I didn't get a box, they told me they "accidentally spilled a bunch of water on the contest boxes" and couldn't use them. What a load of bullshit, I guarantee that means some employee took them home.

yah.. way to go taco bell. I made sure they had the boxes before I ordered. I also pulled one off the top of garbage.

Manage to get two boxes today. I first asked if they had any boxes today, and the cashier girl gave me one even before I ordered. Ordered a $5 box and got another box from that too.

Kinda makes up for the last time I went last week and my order was put in a plastic bag :/

I'll be holding on to these codes until we figure out what the heck is going on with the counter :lol
