I'm starting to have some faith in EA. Fight Night and Battlefield are the best looking upcoming Xbox 360 games. This Superman game could be good. EA almost always creates a decent game when working with a major movie IP. I think this game will be good as far as movie licensed games go. I expect a Spiderman quality game.

Also for people saying that Metalo is missing superman by a mile I think the way the gameplay works according to GI is that you're supposed to prevent damage from happening to the city and to other people.

But I'm not even sure if that is how this game works, I may be confusing this game with what I read about a past Superman game.

It is from what I've seen of it so far. I think it looks much much nicer than GRAW for example. EA usually makes crappy looking games, but I think they're starting to pull way ahead of everyone on 360. I'm very surprised by the way things are starting to look next-gen.

look, i don't think graw is amazing looking (like some people here do), but to say battlefield looks better is just plain..i don't know.

it's a port from the xbox, man, and it shows.

Are people serious in hating? I'm no fan of Superman, by any means, but you COULD NOT do that shot on current gen. Go ahead, try it and you'll find out, YOU CAN'T!

Regardless of his octagon heart, the render quality of that shot can not be achieved on any PS2, anywhere and maybe you could do it on Xbox, but it would crawl.

People need to pull their heads out of their asses, because this next gen bashing is just getting silly.

That's Vortex if I'm not mistaken, he is like a 'vortex' blur on the underside which constructs his alloy body from the fragments he picks up.

I saw this BCD at X05, it didn't look good yet there (actually I don't think this looks good either), but the game concept is cool. They had Superman flying down to pick up a statue and throwing that at the dude, pretty cool stuff.

Looks mega crap for CG. I saw the game BCD at X05 and it looked much the same as that shot. So I have no doubt it will look even better eventually (I really hope so anyways, because this looks like ass...sorry).

And if it's CG, would they use the models showing all the polygonal edges and the like? I dunno, seems unlikely to me if they have access to the CGI models used in the movie and the like. Also, 'bad art' for the giant robot...
