Telltale needs to make a Seinfeld adventure game series.

Think about it! All of your favorite Seinfeld characters in comedic situations that YOU the player get to influence!

Telltale has done so well with dramatic IPs as of late, and even with the more comedic IP of Borderlands, then why not attempt to adapt one of the most beloved sitcoms of all time? You the player could pick the punchlines, barbing away at the absurdity of 90s New York.

Just think of the possibilities:

Episode 1:
Jerry's mom is visiting and he wants to impress her by making her special pecan pie recipe, but he is out of pecans and there's been a recall of pecan-related products. He and Kramer have to find the last bag of pecans in New York City that isn't contaminated before it's too late.

Episode 2:
Costanza has a new job as a telemarketing specialist and ends up coming up with a "phone voice" to better impress people. But, he ends up calling one of his ex-girlfriends and selling her a new home insurance policy. He has to find a way to convince her to cancel the policy before he is forced to talk to her more often than he wants to.

Episode 3:
Elaine goes to a thrift store and finds an old cardigan that she gave away to a friend several years ago. When she later runs into the friend, she finds that she is now engaged to a man whom she had failed to court. Elaine must find and burn the cardigan before it's too late.

Episode 4:
Kramer becomes a private detective, converting his living space into a detective agency. When he finds out about a murder down his street, he sets out to find the culprit.

Episode 5:
Jerry is throwing a party to commemorate his upcoming one hundredth stand-up performance. But when he suddenly contracts laryngitis the night before the show, he must rely upon his friends to find his voice again.

I think it could be another breakout hit for Telltale.

No, Telltale needs to stay away from realistic settings. Using video games to tell a story, then setting that story in some completely mundane world is boring and restrictive. Just look what they were able to do with Borderlands.

Rick and Morty, that's what they need.

Would be amazing...

... but what are the odds that Telltale could get the whole original cast together for this? I'm thinking like... Zero? And who wants shitty Seinfeld cast sound-alikes?

I think I'd rather a Telltale adaptation of Psych.

Solving mysteries using abilities like Gus' super sniffer, Shawn's "psychic" ability to view environments for clues, etc. They already have experience of some sort with their Sam & Max games.

"Would you like to come up stairs for some coffee?"

"No thanks. I can't drink coffee late at night. It keeps me up"

*She will remember that*

I love Seinfeld, but TellTale would honestly ruin the memory of it.

Upgrade the clunky engine first, then we can talk about creating a game for one of tv's greatest sitcoms

What's the deal with choose your own adventure? They always end the same!

The choices, Jerry!

Oh, there's consequences.

I actually laughed at the premise. However I would rather Telltale make more (and good) Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us games instead of the majority of stuff they're spitting out.

Oh damn. The me that played that game and the me that would have gotten that joke were like, six years apart. That's amazing.

I'm on board. I'm on board with anything that gets Telltale making a comedy centric anything instead of The Walking Dead Spin-Off Season Three.

I'm not saying a Seinfeld adventure game series like that wouldn't be great, but if I could have one television comedy be turned into a TellTale series, it'd be Beavis and Butt-head. The "fuck around and do nothing" style of the show and the characters would be perfect for the TellTale format. The big decisions would all be stupid shit, which would be a perfect fit since the big decisions have never really mattered much in the grand scheme of things. Imagine finishing an episode and seeing "45% decided to try and score chicks, while 55% tried to get nachos." There's loads of potential.

The basic premise of a "choose your own adventure about nothing" sounds... amazing, at least.

Seinfeld. Curb. Whatever.

There's very little you could put into X that I wouldn't at least be mildly interested in "Telltale needs to make a(n) X series. At least in part 'cause of how little competition they have (that I'm aware of) in that "visual novel plus" space. Life is Strange was really nice if only 'cause someone else was throwing their hat in the ring.
