Think about it! All of your favorite Seinfeld characters in comedic situations that YOU the player get to influence!
Telltale has done so well with dramatic IPs as of late, and even with the more comedic IP of Borderlands, then why not attempt to adapt one of the most beloved sitcoms of all time? You the player could pick the punchlines, barbing away at the absurdity of 90s New York.
Just think of the possibilities:
Episode 1:
Jerry's mom is visiting and he wants to impress her by making her special pecan pie recipe, but he is out of pecans and there's been a recall of pecan-related products. He and Kramer have to find the last bag of pecans in New York City that isn't contaminated before it's too late.
Episode 2:
Costanza has a new job as a telemarketing specialist and ends up coming up with a "phone voice" to better impress people. But, he ends up calling one of his ex-girlfriends and selling her a new home insurance policy. He has to find a way to convince her to cancel the policy before he is forced to talk to her more often than he wants to.
Episode 3:
Elaine goes to a thrift store and finds an old cardigan that she gave away to a friend several years ago. When she later runs into the friend, she finds that she is now engaged to a man whom she had failed to court. Elaine must find and burn the cardigan before it's too late.
Episode 4:
Kramer becomes a private detective, converting his living space into a detective agency. When he finds out about a murder down his street, he sets out to find the culprit.
Episode 5:
Jerry is throwing a party to commemorate his upcoming one hundredth stand-up performance. But when he suddenly contracts laryngitis the night before the show, he must rely upon his friends to find his voice again.
I think it could be another breakout hit for Telltale.
