Dam I was playing the Wii version and I was laughing like shit when I heard those dialogue again:lolAlaluef said:Dear God, yes. It also needs superb voice acting. I'm talking Goldman material here.
I thought Zoe Mode was the Crush developers? I hope they haven't been shuffled to party games, that'd suck.Cosmonaut X said:Sure you're not thinking of doublesix? IIRC, they're the studio focusing on donwloadable titles; Zoe Mode are the social/party game studio.
I've just read all of it. Day one. Day fucking one! Pretty much everything screams awesome about it.Threi said:Dunno if this got posted already but here is an interview from IGN:

apparently it has been in development for a couple of years.
Hopefully this means DUAL Wiimote action support :O :OIGN: What about the nunchuk. Can it be used for anything?
Neil: No, we wanted it to be accessible, but mainly we wanted to free up peoples hands for more guns. I can talk about that specifically in the future.
Relentless, gore-drenched, over-the-top action
Only the coolest, most cold-hearted agents going to keep his head against the zombie flood. Use Slow-Mofo Time to make the perfect head-popping shot and Evil Eye to spot moments of opportunity thatll send the whole environment up in flames.

Zoë Mode - a young, female character who is said to embody the studio's culture and specialist talents.
"Her personality represents the kind of consumers we're targeting, and to some extent the type of people that work at the studio and the culture of the studio. She is open-minded, social, partying, a music fan, a gamer... It's about a mixture of interests," said studio head Ed Daly.
Baverstock added, "Everything about Zoë Mode as a personality is the real true essence of what the studio is. We're saying we're about making games for people like this, not just that normal, narrow, 18 - 24 year-old male age group."
:lol :lol :lolIGN: How many enemies are you able to show on-screen at any given time?
Neil: I can't put a specific number on that at the moment because work is still going into level design and a lot will be influenced by game balancing and pacing. I would say again that we have an incredibly accomplished team at Headstrong who really know this hardware, so we'll be pushing it for all it's worth. We did take a look at some screens of a certain other zombie game that is being ported to Wii, and the general consensus was that we thought we could certainly do better.
TheKingsCrown said:I'm not sure what else that comment could mean besides Dual Wiimote support. If that's the case, + 1 sales probably.

Calling out Capcom like that... ::whistles::
Eteric Rice said:What the hell is with Sega lately? I mean, first they announce something like Madworld for the Wii, now we're getting a new House of the Dead!
They're becoming a pretty damn good publisher in comparison to just about everyone else.
Now if they could only get their Sonic games down.

So you're not totally enthused to be playing a House of the Dead game, then. What were you hoping for?bigmakstudios said:I love the satirical retro movie style, but I'm not totally enthused to play a rail shooter.
Square-Enix is absolutely amazing on the DS front. I really fucking love The World Ends with You, and FFIV has been great so far (never played any previous versions of the game before). Though if you're speaking strictly consoles, I can understandThrei said:oh wow i didn't even notice that he said that :lol
it dont matter though this game has replaced DR:Wii on my want list so is you are reading this: dont fuck it up guys.
Capcom, Sega, and MMV says my love for eastern games is still well justified.
S-E get your act together.

Ah. Well, I have to be honest, I'm glad it's HotD and still a rail-shooter, because I'm not sure much else is SEGA's speed anymore.bigmakstudios said:Well, I was never really hoping for a House of the Dead game, as you said. But, I do like the "intentionally unintentional" humor, despite that, which is all I really meant to say. I like it, but I'm not sure if I'd be interested in playing the game itself.
Okay, then that's totally understandable. What have they done on consoles so far? The only ones that come to mind for the Wii are DQSwords and Chocobo Dungeon, and I can't think of anything on the other two consoles...other than FFXIII, but that's still a ways into the future...Threi said:Yeah i am talking about consoles. Their DS/PSP support is great.
There's also Nights and Samba de Amigo I reckon.Log4Girlz said:I'm ignorant, what other classic titles has Sega brought over for Wii? I pretty much want the entire Dreamcast library on the Wii. Where the fuck is power stone. I don't care if that was Capcom.
You can get Powerstone 1 & 2 on one convenient UMD!Log4Girlz said:I'm ignorant, what other classic titles has Sega brought over for Wii? I pretty much want the entire Dreamcast library on the Wii. Where the fuck is power stone. I don't care if that was Capcom.

So if this game sells really well, how will it be ruled out of counting as a successful third-party title?
Not sure if you're serious, but Wii sales to date ≈ 3x DC lifetime sales.pakkit said:There plenty of similarities, and in a way I do think it's the spiritual successor to the DC, and they're about even in lifetime sales! :lol
