Vikings Row! is fantastic. Go buy it now, trust me. Only 99 cents too.

(Imagine Toobin, on a viking boat, where you row with your two thumbs)

Do you have an 8GB or something? Cause I'm planning on buying an 8GB Ipod Touch 4G, so your post has me wondering if I should get more space.
No, I have a 32gb iPhone 4, but my only Internet access is over AT&T's edge, and it is likely to be that way till I find a job and move. Apple caps non wifi downloads to 20mb, so it really annoys me when a download is a few kb bigger.

And yes, the more space the better. I am soo happy with 32gb it's perfect. I can hold tons of apps and all of my music.

I would, but it doesn't have the JSL. So I'm going to wait for pes 11, but the FIFA game does look nice.

Wow someone actually wants to play as the teams from Japan Soccer League? :lol

Ok seriously I just downloaded Duke Nukem figuring it was free so what the heck. This game has to have the worst controls I have ever seen in a fps on the iphone yet. Ugh needless to say I have deleted this game already :)

I have a question.

I am having way too many Apps on my iTouch so I need to uninstall some of them from my device. Will I lose the saves of those games once I take it off from the device? Will the save be there when I sync the games back onto my iTouch in the future?

I use iTunes btw, I don't know if it back up my saves.

Say bye bye to your saves.... :-/
I dont know but maybe some games support cloud saving via game center ?

Game save data gets deleted when you delete the app. Which sucks..

Only solution I can think of is jailbreaking - I'm sure there's some kind of thing to back up your stuff that way. Hopefully this is something Apple can fix now with Game Center, it tracks your achievements and leaderboards so why not saves too.

Even when I uncheck the Apps from iTunes (instead of deleting it directly on iDevice)? iTunes won't keep the save?

If that's the case then it really sucks. I'm sure there are a lot of people like me who eventually fill up their iDevices and need to uninstall some of their apps.

I'm pretty sure it saves whenever you do a back up sync on iTunes. If you delete it directly off the device, then reinstall it from iTunes it will revert to the state of the last sync.

You could always try with one app that you don't care if the data gets lost or not.

Civilization Revolution, if you don't already have it. I wish they would hurry up and update it with retina display support.
Waiting for the iPad version to come down a bit and already have it at home..

Anyother suggestions?

Have there been any reports that they actually intend to update it? I mean, the last update was almost a year ago.

I need to pace myself:

UFO on Tape
Puzzle Agent
Secrets of the Vatican
Pinball HD
Avatar

I haven't even tried out all the games I had before I bought these...

Duke's controls are utter garbage. Yuck.

I bought that thing at full price. Struggled with it into the movie theater and decided this was the worst interface I've ever dealt with.

No amount of fiddling could make it right.

Someone needs to tear the rights away from whatever shit port house created this monstrosity and give it a proper treatment.

Gearbox!

Has anyone here tried Colorbind? It looks sick as hell, it's $1.99 and I'm really, really tempted. There's a lite version, too, I just discovered while typing this post.

*downloads*

Oh my God this game is SICK AS HELL WHAAAAAATTT

Duke Nukem 3D is currently FREE for a limited time only.

http://itunes.apple.com/app/duke-nukem-3d/id325995561?mt=8

Terrible port. The game is unplayable.

Worldy Wings $0.99

Nice starter shmup, If you're not quite ready to tackle the big boys this one is perfect. I'm loving it so far but I'm not much of a fan of the hardcore ones. :D I could see some people finding the tilt controls a bit slow but I thought they were fine. Maybe because it hasn't thrown 100 enemies at once.

Are there any good games that use purely tilt controls? I really don't like touch controls most of the time.

Tilt to Live. Amazingly precise tilt controls and a damned fun game.

Thanks.

Three bucks...it's funny how expensive that sounds thanks to all the freebies I've accrued, but really it's not. :lol

Looks pretty cool, might give it a try.

Don't be afraid to bite, its easily one of the best games on the app store imo

The recently released Bit.Trip Beat is very good. It has both tilt and touch controls, but the tilt controls are definitely better.

Are there any really good online games km missing? I'm playing Carc, Fruit Ninja, and Stack and Deploy. I remember playing a mediocre Bomberman clone a couple years back... Seems like there should be more good games I'm not playing.

Words with Friends. Real racing will be getting an update for online as well. Oh Crash Nitro racing 2 is great online as well( but I've only played it a couple times.)

BTW has anyone gotten Doom Classic to work via Wifi? Me and my brother were trying it at work the other day and neither of us could find each other. Maybe we are doing something wrong?

Colorbind is a really great game

A few people out there might find this charming. I stumbled on it when I was specifically doing a search for games from the Apple IIe era. I was hoping that that version of Lode Runner would be available, which it isn't.

So I came across Transylvania, a text adventure in the vein of Shadowgate. I can't tell if the game is really "good," but playing through it just a bit has been a really great nostalgia trip for that kind of graphical look, and it's neat playing through a new text adventure. Are there more out there that anyone has tried?

Sparkle is .99 cents!!! I bought it at $2.99 and love it. BUY THIS GAME!!! (and no, it does not have Retina support but I'm making an exception here. It looks and sounds beautiful.) :D

Oh my god, Duke is awful. I really wanted to try and just deal with the controls but now I think I'm just gonna go buy Doom Classic and forget the whole thing. I can't believe they ported Build so nicely and just dropped the ball control-wise, especially with some okay examples out there.

It says in the description there's three different types of controls, did they screw up all three?

Hey GAF
I got my iPhone 4 and I'm loving it. I have an itunes account and all. I've never bought any games or apps yet. If I purchase ESPGaluda II is it bound to my account like steam/XBL/PSN? If upgrade my phone later on, will I have to repurchase the game or will it let me download it again for free?

The last iPad game I bought was The Incident, and I am just about to buy Bit. Trip Beat. I have not really kept up to date with the store between both of those, Any reccomedations?

Slice it (59p / 99c / Lite) is fun. I'm way too dumb for it, but it's jolly good.
