Thanks for the fast reply. Not to sound doubtful or anything, but do you perhaps have a link that discusses/confirms this?
It's 5 computers not 5 iOS devices, You control the amount by authorizing the computer to your iTunes account. When you de-authorize a message pops up that you have x/5 slots in use.

There are a few apps which will run on one device, So far only the wifi txt apps have complained.

Edit: I don't have any TV Shows or Movies so that might be different.

I bought Final Fantasy yesterday and just bought Puzzle Agent and have £1.90 left and don't know what to get next. The four games I am interested in are Osmos, Geometry Wars, Peggle and Pacman CE. I already have all of them on either PC or Xbox so I know how the games work but does anyone have recommendations of the iPod versions of them?
I really wish Mirror's Edge was on sale in the UK because then I'd just get that.

Here's a video of UFO On Tape:

You really shouldn't miss this game!
WOW, this game is pretty much fantastic and so damn funny too. It controls *perfectly* when using the gyro mode which is default on Iphone 4, it's really like hunting for something in the sky witha zoomed-in camera from a moving vehicle - but it's nigh unplayable when switched to an accelerometer mode. I think a lot of older device owners will be bummed like this and won't even know what they are missing. If you have Iphone 4 or newest Ipods, you really have to give this a try.

I don't know what the exact policy (and I guess others have corrected me), but I've used the same apps I bought on the same iTunes account on an iPhone 3G, iPad, and now iPhone 4 without any problems.

Alright, good enough proof for me. Thanks again!

I hate virtual d-pads so pacman ce automatically sucks.
Geowars has a demo
The trick is to not use the d-pad controls!

Ah, I see. So it works because the stylus has a rubber tip? Forgive my ignorance, but why is it that the DS Stylus doesn't work? Would anything rubber work as a makeshift stylus?
Not sure about anything rubber but there's a few different materials that work. If you search for "DIY capacitive stylus" you'll see a bunch of different ones people have made. Off the top of my head, anti static wrap, anti static socks, aluminum foil, sausages, donuts, and candy bar wrappers.

I think I have one similar to the one linked earlier...it sucks ass. But there's a good one out there! I actually wrote a review of it a day or two ago here.

so is the phoenix wright port great in its own right? like if i've played it on ds but this version is just as enjoyable?

I have a 3GS and it's really hard to control. =(

I just don't feel like the motions I have to do to keep the UFO on frame are realistic, it just feels wrong somehow.

Still a neat concept though.

Yeah. I've been replaying it on iPhone slowly over the past couple weeks. It's just as good on iPhone.

the idea for ufo on tape is cool but i hate the controls

Fuck. It's unplayable with accelerometer for me. No Gyroscope on 3GS? :(
So true. Yeah, gyro was introduced with Iphone 4. Sad to say this, but you have no idea what you're missing - the game is stupidly fun when played in gyro mode!

Oh man, stop teasing! :'D

Well at least I'm supporting the developer, right? :)

I suck at bit.trip BEAT! The tilt controls and the touch controls are failing me. I want a damn d-pad!

Maybe if I hold the phone normally, and make it like a vertical shooter, I'll be able to play it better...

According to TA, BUBBLE BOBBLE~! comes out tonight complete with a new mode that looks Infinity Gened to hell and back.

It controls perfectly with an iPhone4 because you move the screen around like a video camera's viewfinder.
there is an app that works that way with 3GS as well. its called 360 immersive and its free (just a showcase, but works well). i think it uses the compass, but I guess it would be too slow for that game.

Geometry Wars is 80% off. Is it good?

yes, but better on the ipad since you're not obscuring most of the playable area with thumbs

it started off on the ipad and then they made it universal for the iphone, just because, i guess...

man, if Pix n Rush doesn't tickle my nostalgia bone

How are Final Fantasy I & II on iPhone? I've never played them and they're only $2.99 right now.

A bit forgiving compared to the original (none of that attacking an enemy that's already dead stuff.) I like the new art too. I'm not far in though, not even to the first boss.

Well the last time I played II, it was a passable if choppy port of the PSP game. Not sure if they fixed the choppiness at all, something tells me no.

The world map is low framerate (maybe 15fps), but the towns/dungeons battles are all 60 or 30 & smooth.

Hmm, I'll be eager to try it again when I get my new touch.

Aftef I beat monkey island 2 I'm gonna start Rolando I think. Anyone else played that one? Also, a cool free app is godfinger. Basically it's Black and White for the iPhone.
