The production iPhone 4 units don't list the GBs on the back.
 
Got this in the mail yesterday from decalgirl. It comes with a from piece, but I don't think I want to put it on-- it'll change the look of the phone too much.

I chose this design because I think it will go well with a white bumper.

Is it just me, or is iMovie missing some serious features? I mean, I love the app, but it seems like it could benefit from some simple things such as a fade-in and fade-out option for the music.
 
not sure if anyone uses hipstamatic, but its iphone 4 update hit today and is pretty great! retina display interface, background processing, and now the flashes actually use the flash.

Does anyone know of a decent app that does AM radio that works with the multitasking? I use AOL Radio to listen to sports talk on the way into work and it doesn't stream in the background. (Unless I am doing something wrong... I double tap the home button then choose the other app I want to use while listening)

I fucking love this thing, btw. This is what the iPhone experience is meant to be.

It's missing a lot of features for a $50 movie editing app. For $5 it's outstanding. I assume the goal was to make it easy to use first and foremost, then add features in later, and I'm fine with that.

Honestly, I'm still blown away that it works and that I can edit video on the phone at all. :lol

Fstream works with multitasking, but you will have to gather your the radio streams manually. WFAN works well, for instance.

iPhone 3G doesn't support homescreen wallpapers. They work fine on 3GS though!

Jailbroken phones had this since the beginning, but official iOS4, yeah it's new.
 
so who's curious for the iPhone 4 jailbreak and the "unrestrictor" will allow facetime to work over 3G?

I use Tunein Radio. It works the way you described and you can record radio as well. I use it to hear fans around the country cry bitter tears after a team has a devastating loss.

Yeah, it was good listening!

But the best day in recent history was the day McNabb got traded. Man, Philly radio was awesome! If/When LeBron leaves, I will be on Cleveland sports radio for the next 48 hours. Bitter tears are so good.

Definitely. I mean, it's great for $5, and I'm very glad that it exists, but I'm hoping for some quick updates, namely:

-Ability to cut up clips within the app, rather than going back into 'Photo' to do so.
-Setting a length of time for the titles to show up.
-Multiple music tracks within one video, and crossfading between them.
-Rather than just audio on or off, ability to bring up and down the music whenever you want.
-More themes and fade styles.

One thing that really annoys me is how it shortens clips based on the fade. I've gotten mostly used to it, but when you're trying to time video to an audio track, every 10th of a second counts, and sometimes it will shorten a clip you've already set because you're moving around something later in the movie.
 
Do the radio apps work on Edge? How much data do they use and how much do they kill the battery?

Wish my work had wifi. Can I use tunein on my computer as well? I usually listen to podcasts in the car so I would like that more for the office.

Hah, I never saw that. It's a total coincidence.

I actually came up with the idea about a week ago when I was looking through all my old iPhone lock screens that I used for my 3G to see how they would look as homescreen wallpapers. One of them was Pac Man and I noticed how neat it looked that some pellets lined up in between the apps as well as a ghost. So that inspired me to actually make something that actually fit but I just didn't have time till now.

Plus mine looks way better cuz I used the actual art =)

No, it works on 3G. I used to use Wunderradio, but Tunein Radio seems to be alot more reliable. Plus it is alot more slick as well.

I'm actually banking on it. FaceTime really is useless without being able to use 3G to me and I was gambling that one way or another I would be able to use it over 3G. WiFi just makes it too restrictive to use.

FedEx's webtracking should tell you when the expected delivery date is. I ordered from AT&T and it was delivered the same day I got the shipping confirmation (via FedEx).

According to FedEx tracking, it's currently in Hong Kong, estimated delivery July 14th. Damn, I hope it gets here by then. I fly out of town on July 15th. -_-
 
Just got the phone and while I love it as a media device, I'm not feeling this antenna thing at all. I can replicate the death grip and instantly start dropping bars and even lose service completely. Also, strangely enough, if I hold my phone in portrait mode in my right hand, I'll maintain a stronger wifi signal if I'm far away, but if I'm holding it in landscape mode, the signal decreases. I'm thinking it's cause I'm bridging that gap with my finger :\

Yep just tested it out, it consistently drops one wifi bar when in landscape :|

I don't know how well it will work on 3G. Even on wifi if the person I am talking to has a slow connection it starts to chug and lag.

I have never really taxed the At&t network like that before so I am just guessing it won't hold up but we should find out one way or the other soon enough.

When I saw they were different wallpapers I figured you'd at least done something on your own to make it happen, I'm just used to seeing your name and instantly going on the defensive :lol
 
I had something weird happen to me. My phone was working absolutely perfect, no death grip or anything, and then on the first day I get the NO SIM CARD INSTALLED message. I take my sim card out a bunch of times and go into airplane mode, and even reset all my network settings. It magically got fixed somehow, and ever since then I've been able to do the death grip...

I got my phone 3 days ago. Haven't notice death grip. Probably has to do with me putting phone in Belkin Vue case as soon as phone arrived, but I have notice WiFi signal issue. In landscape mode, if up / down volume is on top, WiFi signal does drop by 1 bar. If I rotate phone 180 with up/down volume at bottom, no WiFi signal drop.
 
Quick question: Does anyone else's wall charger adaptor get super warm after a couple minutes of charging? Mine does and it's Mina freaking me out.
