This pig in my town Curley is going on and on about fossils, and how I owe him one. I have a fossil, how do I give him one? In a letter?

Also, someone stole away my duck who works at city hall. I had a nice white duck, and now I have a beligerent pink one :(

I'm loving every second of this game, and I've yet to take it online.

In a way, I'm reluctant to. >_>
I feel connected to my neighbors in Splendia, and I'm a bit confused about how this online business works... Do you just come visit my town (and vice versa) and walk around, able to talk to my neighbors, etc.?

Yeah that's how it works. You can do almost everything you can do in your own town. Even dig up stuff, fish, buy stuff from nook etc.

Make sure it's been identified by Blathers first and it's something you haven't already donated to the museum.

You could give him something that you haven't donated yet I guess but you might as well just wait for a duplicate.
 
Wow, finally caught a Stringfish. I hear they're worth 15k, and I was dying to sell it, but I did the good deed and donated my first catch to the Museum... -_-

i've never been tempted to sell my first catch!

and yeah, they're worth 15K... if i catch a second one, i'll probably put it in my house like my second coelacanth!

3rd and up i'll sell though

Yeah. On the GC, I'd obsessively check off every item in my game guide. I'll probably do the same thing with this one.
 
Just got my 3rd upgrade... floorboard limit? lame...

It makes the third upgrade useless, I could only add two items to the ground before I was cut off. I'd rather have the smaller room cluttered, I hate all of the open space.

was this a hardware limit or just some arbitrary rule that got added to the game so people wouldn't stockpile the house with fish at night?
 
G-d damn. I have an ass-ton to sell, probably at least 60k worth, and I can't because Nook is remodeling, hopefully for the last time! :/

Anyone have their store open yet and willing to host??

Got my third house expansion and Nook's final store coming the same day. Lots of debt. And if I take an extra day to liquidate my fruit, then it'll just take that much longer for the trees to respawn! :/
 
My town is like Povvo Town and I look like a Bogan but meh what you going to do... Its the way I live :lol I love this game so much :D
 
Darn fishing compo. Every time I get a new record, some guy called Hugh breaks it. Looking for a >46.1 inch fish now... any chance a whale comes by?

Meet Tortimer in front of the Town Hall/Post Office at 12. Competition goes on until 6pm. I won by catching three 42.6 inch Sea Bass. I could NOT get anything higher.

Adjusting your DS' internal clock will affect the AC clock by the same amount.

It's still off by an hour. DST? How do I enable that in the DS internal clock?
 
aaaargh! So I got this 46.3 inch fish,run off to Tortimer and find out that some critter got himself a 47.1 inch sea bass -_-

[edit] 47.2, just 7 minutes before closure... I swear, if some critter manages to break that within the next 7 minutes, my characters and the town it's in are getting a free flying lesson.

Ahh, you mean synch up your DS and AC clocks? I don't think you can, since the AC clock seems to be set during town creation. :/ I'm off by an hour too.

I named my town "Hyrule," and am trying to make it zelda themed. I suck at drawing, though, so I can't make any zelda shirts or icons or even the flag. :lol

Wait.. the mario kart decal maker could be used for AC, too, right? Someone mind making (or if they've already made, posting) some zelda decals? :lol

I think I might keep that as my town's theme, justin. :)
 
Just turned in an 85.7 inch tuna. I think that is good enough for today.

Is there a chance another animal can beat me before 6pm or is the prize tortimer gave me the final prize? I gave him a tiny fish to start because I remember him saying you get a prize for outdoing your previous best.
