PantherLotus said:Uh...what hype? I mean, NMH certainly has a lot of neoGaf hype, but that doesn't mean much. Little to no advertising, little to zero exposure, and middling to average reviews means you should check your hype gage. I hope it is good too and will definitely give it a swing, but I think by "living up to the hype," you mean "living up to my own unrealistic expectations." I did the same thing to myself for SPM and got burned. Just tryin to watch out for you.
And yeah. Brawl will be that singular title that dominates this platform for a long time to come.

Will it be impressive or a quick cashin, untill the next million selling portable version comes out?
It has the potential to be exciting, at any rate.
Souldriver said:Found the problem. Every pic has the word "banner" in it, so it's automatically blocked here. :lol
PantherLotus said:Kirby was officially denied to be in development, as in, not your usual "we aren't making this game but WINK and we can't say anything about it WINK," but more like, "that shit ain't happenin bitches."
You probably should know the developer of Battalion Wars, yes.On a side note, should I know who Kuju London is?
It was actually in development for PS3, as far as I understand...John Harker said:Are we expecting Monster Hunter 3 to be a was-in-development for PS2 but switched-over-to-Wii-based-on-sales-numbers kind of game, or will it truly be ground-up-loveproject-2nd-gen-a-la-Mario-type development? It should be a pack-in with Wii Play or a WiiWare title.Stumpokapow said:Wii Music is going to be on disc.

Stumpokapow said:I suspect it will be a semi-budget title unless Nintendo is nuts, and from a content point of view it's going to be fairly full.
Shiggy said:NCL says otherwise. It was just the ONM UK who said this crap: NCL lists it as a 2008 game for Japan and - to be honest - I think they know better than ONM UK.

LOCK said:This is a great thread. Great work Panther.
PantherLotus said:similar to Wii Chess?
Stumpokapow said:Wii Chess is a piece of shit, both in terms of features and design. It's truly telling that it appears to be an NOE flagship title and has not been announced for North America ever.
Wii Music is an internal NCL project. I'd put it on level with Wii Sports, Wii Play, and Wii Fit in terms of how the menus, packaging, and advertising will be done.
I don't think there's any comparison to look to for price just yet, but I do expect it to be $39.99 US or lower.
I think as long as 2K doesn't mess up the Wii version like how EA mess up Madden 08 and actually advertise the game so the casual gamers actually knows that there's MLB 2k8 for Wii, then it will do pretty good.FordStang said:I want to see if MLB 2k8 is going to be any good. I have a feeling it is going to bomb, but I will be crossing my fingers
splattergnome said:You have Boom Blox in both March as well as Q3/Q4/TBA - which one is the correct one? And I am saddened at the lack of a banner of it - ignoring Spielburg's involvement, it may not be a major title, but it seems to fulfill the same niche as Elebits and the like - a quirky sandbox title with a "build-your-levels" mode.

Toy Soldier said:Have there already been impressions of playable version of the Wii port? It's one I've yet to see anything about, but I've been jazzed for it, considering how awesome the game was back in the arcades and on Dreamcast.

Netherlands.PantherLotus said:This game sounds really freakin fun. I think this is the one that started out as a college project over in England. A publisher picked it up and WHAMMO, original fun experience to be had. Maybe at a slightly budget price?

We haven't heard from Rygar in a while. I wonder how its turned out.

This is all that I know about that. Link takes you to the official site -- banner is currently under February. Interesting, because it makes a 3-game trifecta for SEGA in just a few weeks:
SEGA BASS FISHING
SEGA SUPERSTARS TENNIS
HotD 2&3
Not that any of them will be THE BEST GAMES EVER MADE, but there is little doubt that SEGA is really, really supporting the Wii. Cool stuff. Too bad SEGA has been trying to duplicate what NINTENDOES, but this is a good start. KEEP IT UP SEGA!!
