Somehow missed this thread! Anywho, got this car (I'm a quadriplegic but paid half with my Dad [to drive it] so it's like a father son adventure even though he said he didn't want my money) in '07 and it has been solid. No issues at all and an absolute joy. That said, I think I will get a new to me 991 next year with a 7spd manual & what not. I really like the 991's.

Carrera S
A.W.E. Headers, Cats, Mufflers & Tips (Fabspeed tips in picture)
RSS Intake plenum
EvosMS V-Flow intake
Spacers & increased camber
Porsche Short shift kit

Haha what the hell? I've been around farms and horses for years but never have I seen that before!

Nice Chevy Cruze by the way! I bet your Cruze has more infotainment tech than my 911! I don't have bluetooth, ipod hookup and the steering wheel controls were a $1500 option :| But it was a worthy option. That mileage is amazing to boot!

Thanks. Its my first new car so I'm happy. Yeah with all the tech in this car I sometimes forget that its only a 17k dollar car. But let's face it, your 911 is a lot more fun to drive.

I havent got pictures right now but I do own a Evo X MR the IX was my dream car but by the time I had enough to buy it cash it was out of production :\ so I bought the X in cash! :D will post pics later :)

Not my picture, as it's all rainy outside and I don't feel like getting drenched taking one, but that's my car.
I call her Lola. She's a piece of shit, but get's me places.

Don't have pictures ATM, but I recently got an 06' Acura RSX Type S. I decided to get it over the 06 Golf, GTI, TSX and 08 TSX. I've had my eye on this car for a long time and it had almost everything that I wanted for a good price (had to put in USB/AUX stereo and subs myself). Sometimes I still think about that TSX though.

The only other car that I want would be some super efficient hybrid car/SUV.

Wait what? Isn't that pretty crappy? I just got a new car and am getting about the same and am slightly disappointed. Although I only ever drive it to work which is about a 15 minute drive in traffic so I wasn't expecting anything miracles, but when the advertised is nearer 50 it's a bit gutting!

Advertised nearer to 50 mpg in the city? What do you have, a Prius?

I've always been an Evo man but I do like that:

Here's mine before I sold it:

Replaced with something practical that I can take my bikes and tow with. Still pretty fun though with V8:

Here's what I'll be using on the track running a 4age for the moment. Just regod it last night and took for first drive:

Nah it's a Fiesta, and I double checked it and that's the combined. It's actually a bit above 40 for city. Obviously it's a smaller car, but I guess I never thought of mpg in the 30s as being particularly good. Especially when petrol is so expensive :( I put more than £50 worth in it the first time I filled it up.

Ah, you're British. A British gallon is 20% larger than a US gallon, so our fuel economy numbers are lower.

I love Evo's & WRX/STi's. I had a Mazda 323 GTX, a 4wd 4cyl turbo w/ 250,000kms. It was a bit of a shitcan but I got it for $500 from my Dad's dealership (Mazda). It was my wannabe WRX haha. Then I bought a '93 323 for $50 and spent $32 on spraypaint on it. My friends and I spraypainted it all black with an ugly yellow racing stripe and grill. We then took that window marker and called it the "Black Beast." Ahh fun times!

Here are a few pics after painting the grill on my Fusion, and lowering it. Rear squats a bit lower on full tank of gas. Otherwise, I like it and I don't vomit in my mouth looking at the wheel gap anymore.

Sorry, the pics aren't great but these were just quick phone shots. I hope to do a photo-shoot sometime.

Not my actual car, but this is its identical twin. Betty is in the shop right now. Been trying to sell her for over 4 months. I'm asking $13,500. The best offer I have gotten is $9,000. Any ideas?

I just got this guy a month ago. 2001 Honda S2000, $11,500, 44,000 miles, stock and nearly perfect condition outside of some easily fixable problems (power outlet not working, cupholder broken, etc). For performance mods, so far I've put on a K&N Cold Air Intake, installed Yellowstuff brake pads and slotted rotors from EBC Brakes, and bled through some ATE Super Blue brake fluid. On the comfort front, I gutted the horrific stock audio system, installed Boston Acoustics SR60 component speakers (drilling holes in the door panels to install tweeters was a bit intimidating), an Alpine iDA-X305S with a KTP-445 inline amp, and directly wired in my Valentine One radar detector. All in all, it's a pretty sweet car, and a good compliment to my 2002 Ford Focus ZX3 (now my "winter beater" and "lumber hauler"). By the time I get everything done, it's going to be time to park it for winter. (I live in a northern suburb to Chicago)

Nice job; I looked long and hard at the monochrome option when I bought my fusion, but a red grill on a red car just looked kinda weird.

I rented a Cruze a little while back to go to an out of state weekend getaway casino trip. I rented it because my truck was acting up (its motor blew shortly thereafter; wise move) and I really liked it.

I just picked up a 2006 Grand Prix GXP with the V8, fully loaded. Pretty fast for what it is and I just love it overall. Pics soon when I get time to get her all shined up.

Trade her in on either a 2011 f250 or 2011 f150. Thats what my dad and i drive and we both love them, plus I'm getting 23 MPG with.the 5.0 v8 and 33s.

Yeah, I thought about painting mine blue but decided against it for the front grill. I still kind of like the ones with blue grills.

kkaabboomm - we need a side shot. Ride looks good.

the seats are all leather, just two different types/colors. the front seats are heated/cooled. its got 325+hp right now, but i'm thinking about doing a STaSIS tune and kick her up to 410hp. besides that, maybe re-add the under-the-front seat bins that the euro ones have, and then a bunch of VAG-com mods (remove the running light 'wink' when blinker is on, let dvd's play while driving, rip cds to the hd, etc). it's got the 14 speaker B&O sound system, so i've put a bunch of music on an sd card and have been rocking out as i drive. it's a lot of fun.

Not sure if this is the right thread to post this, but I'm going to buy a new car and need some advice. My top 4 cars in order are the 2012 Toyota camry SE, 2012 Honda accord, 2012 Subaru legacy, and the 2012 Nissan Altima. Which of these cars would u guys say is the best to go with? Please factor in reliability, resale value, and features.

The Automotive Discussion thread would be better for this. The Camry is new for this year, so most of us won't be able to tell you much about it, other than it's probably good. The Subaru is a good option if you want a car with all-wheel drive, but it gets worse fuel economy as a result.

if you're gonna resell it, you might as well just lease a car.
