Thanks. Its my first new car so I'm happy. Yeah with all the tech in this car I sometimes forget that its only a 17k dollar car. But let's face it, your 911 is a lot more fun to drive.mblitek said:Haha what the hell? I've been around farms and horses for years but never have I seen that before!
Nice Chevy Cruze by the way! I bet your Cruze has more infotainment tech than my 911! I don't have bluetooth, ipod hookup and the steering wheel controls were a $1500 option :| But it was a worthy option. That mileage is amazing to boot!

Advertised nearer to 50 mpg in the city? What do you have, a Prius?electricshake said:Wait what? Isn't that pretty crappy? I just got a new car and am getting about the same and am slightly disappointed. Although I only ever drive it to work which is about a 15 minute drive in traffic so I wasn't expecting anything miracles, but when the advertised is nearer 50 it's a bit gutting!

Ah, you're British. A British gallon is 20% larger than a US gallon, so our fuel economy numbers are lower.electricshake said:Nah it's a Fiesta, and I double checked it and that's the combined. It's actually a bit above 40 for city. Obviously it's a smaller car, but I guess I never thought of mpg in the 30s as being particularly good. Especially when petrol is so expensiveI put more than £50 worth in it the first time I filled it up.

Sorry, the pics aren't great but these were just quick phone shots. I hope to do a photo-shoot sometime.

Nice job; I looked long and hard at the monochrome option when I bought my fusion, but a red grill on a red car just looked kinda weird.

Adelor Lyon said:I just got this guy a month ago. 2001 Honda S2000, $11,500, 44,000 miles, stock and nearly perfect condition outside of some easily fixable problems (power outlet not working, cupholder broken, etc). For performance mods, so far I've put on a K&N Cold Air Intake, installed Yellowstuff brake pads and slotted rotors from EBC Brakes, and bled through some ATE Super Blue brake fluid. On the comfort front, I gutted the horrific stock audio system, installed Boston Acoustics SR60 component speakers (drilling holes in the door panels to install tweeters was a bit intimidating), an Alpine iDA-X305S with a KTP-445 inline amp, and directly wired in my Valentine One radar detector. All in all, it's a pretty sweet car, and a good compliment to my 2002 Ford Focus ZX3 (now my "winter beater" and "lumber hauler"). By the time I get everything done, it's going to be time to park it for winter. (I live in a northern suburb to Chicago)

Trade her in on either a 2011 f250 or 2011 f150. Thats what my dad and i drive and we both love them, plus I'm getting 23 MPG with.the 5.0 v8 and 33s.Mully said:Not my actual car, but this is its identical twin. Betty is in the shop right now. Been trying to sell her for over 4 months. I'm asking $13,500. The best offer I have gotten is $9,000. Any ideas?

The Automotive Discussion thread would be better for this. The Camry is new for this year, so most of us won't be able to tell you much about it, other than it's probably good. The Subaru is a good option if you want a car with all-wheel drive, but it gets worse fuel economy as a result.JJBro One said:Not sure if this is the right thread to post this, but I'm going to buy a new car and need some advice. My top 4 cars in order are the 2012 Toyota camry SE, 2012 Honda accord, 2012 Subaru legacy, and the 2012 Nissan Altima. Which of these cars would u guys say is the best to go with? Please factor in reliability, resale value, and features.
if you're gonna resell it, you might as well just lease a car.JJBro One said:Not sure if this is the right thread to post this, but I'm going to buy a new car and need some advice.
