It gets very difficult, but according to others it's a tad easier than Trials 2 on the PC.
 
Woot finally unlocked the finally bike! I also ended up with the 28th spot in the leaderboards in that tournament too :D (doubt I will last up there for very long though)

By the looks of the leaderboard only 59 other people have unlocked the bike.
 
When I woke up this morning, I had no intention of buying this. After reading the impressions and watching some videos today at work, I'm buying it tonight.

Woo, just got #21 for the flaming rings challenge.

Never played Trials before today, but apparently I've been missing out big time because this game is awesome.
 
If you get the Full Throttle achievement, a 'gamerpic unlocked' notification pops up (same as the achievement notification). I've never seen a game do this before, usually you get a seperate screen or no info at all.

On the 30% of tries that I can actually get to the pins, I can only knock down 4-6 of them. I once got 9, but most of the time I can't seem to hit them with the necessary force.

still haven't gotten this one. the closest i get is when i can land the bike so hard next to the pins that it explodes.

but i still usually have one left =(

i did finally get the stock market one though

over 15,000 on the first leaderboard now, $225,000+ of revenue in the first 12 hours, safe to say, 1200 point price tag hasnt hurt this game :lol

This game kicks ass and i was glad to pay 15 bucks for it. Seems like this will do well to be my in between game.

It took me damn 15 minutes to do the first extreme level, the end bit killed me. :lol

The moment I saw a preview pan of that level is the exact moment my enthusiasm for that game died.
Fun time otherwise though.

This has got to be a first, being unable to play a 360 game because of problems with some other piece of hardware.

I'm not sure the two styles would go well together but I do agree that more games need to support avatars. I wish there was a female character as well, I have a friend who loves motorcycles but pretty much only uses her 360 for Netflix, that would make it easier for me to get her interested in this game.

That would be awesome, but there is probably some shitty restrictive rule that Avatars cannot be injured.
 
So I read on Giantbomb that with the trial ( demo ) you can fully use the level editor O_o.

That's pretty strange..

I've been doing great, I refuse to go on to the next level until I beat the previous level in 1 run ( no dying ). I've hit a wall at Groundhog Returns.

Yea, I noticed I could use the level editor and didn't find any restrictions except downloading, saving and sharing

naturally, to let people play about with it, without being able to save, its a bit pointless tho, letting people use it is perfect way of selling the game, the devs arent stupid

It's a new feature in the dashboard update.

I got the same notification when I got the MP gamer pic in Splosion Man (already had the other. :P)
 
dont tell me i cant change the camera. how do i change the fucking camera?! i want the original 2.5D perspective from trials 1. i could set it like that in trials 2 pc...

edit: omg i cant even flip the bike otg...wtf i thought this was a port of trials 2. i should have read some goddamn information about this pos.

edit: nm that first bike just sucks ass, this game is still cool
 
Guys, I have a question. I bought All the summer arcade games so far, except TMNT, now to get that 800MSP offer, did I have to buy them at launch? or can I buy TMNT now and still get the 800MSP?

Ofcourse you can flip the bike. You are probably playing with one of the first bikes which handle differently. This isn't a port of Trials 2 this is an entire new game.

Yes there are no other camera's, i've heard complaints from several old Trials 2 players.

drop down after the 5th checkpoint, it's a little tricky. there is a boost all the way to the back that will let you reach a higher level. then follow the path until you find an elevator with a giant bomb on it

You just need to buy them all by August 31st, no specific order. The 800 Points will be automatically deposited into your account within 4-6 weeks.

I thought so. thanks for confirming.

I need help: I cannot for the life of me get past the final section of the hard level 'Trials and Tribulations' (at least that's the name iirc). you have to get up this incredibly steep beam, with a smaller beam in the middle. wasted sooo many retries on this
 
I played the trial expecting not to good for some reason, and it ended up being a very very good game, so I bought it. Now I'm into the hard levels and this one level is KICKING my ass. I cant get past this one part with this ridiculously steep tire mountain and I can see the finish line!!! I played this one level where I whooped ass, with 88 tries, I finished and saw that Eric WK had like 231 tries hahaha I was cracking up cause I did terrible :P Add me if you want to compare whatnot GT - InfectedZero
 
Wow this game is really cool, one of the best XBLA games. It starts really easy with some nice high speed levels, but on Hard and Extreme it becomes a proper trial-bike game.
