I'm hoping for 792p on PS4.
912p or bust!
I'm hoping for 792p on PS4.
I'm hoping for 792p on PS4.
Doubt it.hope it isn't parity pressure form MS...
Sure, but what you are missing is that when we are talking about canned animations, we already reached the point where technological limitations weren't a particularly relevant/limiting factor a while ago.Certainly as technology has improved, animation budgets have improved also.
LOL, CDPR are terrible developers. Even on solid gaming pc rigs their games tend to run horribly.
What's fake? The interview? It is fake guys.
I will be surprised (and disappointed) if they didn't run the game at 1080p on PS4.
I'm thinking
PS4: 900p 30fps with dips
XB1: 720p 30fps with dips
Yeap... you can run more things while rendering the graphics but it is hard and yet new to use.Ah, I see. So more ACE's (if you can call it like that) means better and more rendering of such effects?
I'm hoping for 792p on PS4.
Well Cerny did a comparison with the SPU & the GPGPU in the ps4 if I'm not wrong.
Maximum supported resolution is 4K so I don't think your 680 will cut it.
I misunderstood something in the process lolWhat's fake? The interview?
....Really? That doesn't apply at all here, since the game isn't using Euphoria. Nor any other system based on procedurally generated animations, as far as I know.
All the animations here are produced individually and then probably interpolated.

Played The Witcher 1 and 2 on my PC.
Will do the same with #3
My 2GB GTX770 Twin Frozr is ready![]()
They example is in context of the parallel working method of both. The SPU work is all out about batch your work on each so then when a job is done you don't get batch stalls in the gaps, keep the gaps small and staggered. The logic flow on the cell was crap so to make it work well you had to code with the prediction in your methods.Well Cerny did a comparison with the SPU & the GPGPU in the ps4 if I'm not wrong.

That res is exclusive to Xbox One®
That's why I'm iffy on the PC version. They might keep one or two effects but if all assets are downgraded for parity then that would be incredibly disappointing. If they get it to run in 900p on XboxOne, 1080p should be no problem on Ps4.
I really hope their deal with Microsoft doesn't include a parity clause...

Xbox at E3 @ 900p.Is there a demo based on console version?
If yes, what resolution it uses?

MS money hatting resolution from sony now eh? I see how it is. If I cant get it no one will.
There is Xbox exclusive items on retail for The Witcher 3.... well at least the LE.Speaking seriously, it's been a marketing partnership only and CDPR has held the line on no console exclusives whether they be timed, retailer, etc.
I'm hoping for 792p on PS4.
It's actually a timed exclusive. That res is exclusive to Xbox One®
This is unacceptable. You need to figure out a way to get a better resolution.
Yeap... you can run more things while rendering the graphics but it is hard and yet new to use.
You can for example do all the wind physics simulation via ACEs with the GPU doing both simultaneous and freeing up the CPU.
More ACEs = more compute taks you can run in GPU simultaneous.
What would you have them do? Restrict visuals for a slightly clearer image? That's ridiculous.

You have a 8GB graphics card?lol 2GB?
You need at least 8
