Worst president in history ...was kinda decided a long time ago. The world was forced to take the blue pill and we are seeing how deep this shit goes

This seems shortsighted, we have a large number of presidents with much higher bodycounts than Trump and they lived in times with much smaller populations!

I don't like Trump either but maybe you should give it some academic distance before you make statements that make you seem like a overreactive moron with no sense of American or world history.

Hahaha fucking idiots, did they really think they'd never go back into the WH that they tied their hands like that?
I wonder if the Republican party will just give up on the Presidency following Trump. They seem to have been the most successful when they had just Congress and a nice enemy figure in the White House they could rail their party behind.

Can people stop freaking out for now – isn't this just bluster coming from him? It doesn't actually do much of anything?
Can guarantee you that’s not how Iran is seeing this. Also no this isn’t just bluster. It’s not some random tweet he’s going to pretend he never wrote afterwards.

What? How can a president be evaluated by body count? The body count is astronomical under Lincoln and FDR 's watch.

This is the worst president because he is the only president directly challenges the American democracy by going after ALL other government branches and 1st amendment, aka what makes America America. He wants to be a dictator and he is the definition of anti-America.

Richard Nixon did all of that decades ago. This is not unique to Donald Trump. Your dislike of someone shouldn't totally turn your brain off to US presidential history.

So add fixing this mess on top of fixing the health care mess and tax reform to Congress's plate. 109643366th dimension chess.

I love how he was all about diplomacy and not more war and wouldn't it be great if we could talk to our enemies and he has pushed us ever closer to war with Iran and North Korea. His voters are the biggest saps in the world. Anything but Hillary lol. Gives his buddies tax breaks. Promotes all his goldman sachs exec buddies to prominent positions. #MAGA

My opinion is that Trump is still worse than Nixon. Trump is doing things way above and beyond all the things Nixon did/wanted to do.

but you can disagree of course.

Richard Nixon and his election staff knowingly sabotaged peace talks with North Vietnam in 1968 to get an edge in the election. I don't know about you but I think that's much worse than any of Trump's incompetence so far. The Vietnam War basically broke the country beyond any measure of repair, to say nothing of the added deaths of both American soldiers and Vietnamese civilians due to Nixon being a fear-mongering weasel who desired the office of the presidency and acted like it was a king's throne when he got it.

You're fine to dislike our current president but don't pretend Trump is the beginning of the fall of America's stature in the world or something. That began a long time ago.

Actually it does a lot, it kicks it to congress whereas before they had no say in the matter. Now we have to see if the GOP can contain itself. New sanctions would not be subject to a filibuster.

Then there is ripple effect. EU is already siding loudly with deal and Iran on this, causing divide between EU and US. Russia is making noise how this decision by US is concerning for regional stability. Iran will be fucking livid and response strongly. North Korea will feel even more justified in not listening to Western world and sticking with their nuclear and ICBM programs.

etc

The "decertification" thing is just a binky to make Trump feel better while all the adults do the actual work and logistics to execute it since he doesn't have the power to actually do anything about it. Bluster and noise as usual.

Words have power. You can't just play semantics when nobody else is on-board with your word games.

While it is true that you'd hope the adults will proceed more carefully, there is a price to pay for rhetoric.

There will be reactions to be sure as explained by Tovarisc but I feel like those are expected when our president has a public temper tantrum about the international community every week. No one should be shocked that we will continue to isolate ourselves diplomatically or otherwise given how things have gone so far.

Jfc, can’t he stop 1 minute and start thinking that maybe the stuff he is doing is wrong when USA allies are against what he does?

This president has gone above and beyond where nixon has gone. for heavens sake today he said he met the president of the virgin islands? I mean he definitely the dumbest. He wants to strip millions of healthcare, show's no indifference to the KKK, suggested curtailing the media, has an ongoing case of treason, benefits of taxpayers by visiting his own hotels....

And now, He decertifies a deal, which lets be honest he probably can't decertifiy unilateraly cause US was not the only party in the deal, which will provide no kind of assurance that if a country like north korea singed one they would be any mutual respect on the details.

In my opinion, he is one of the worst. Ofcourse, we are all valid to have our own opinions.

How can they expect other countries trust and make deal with them after this?

Donald Trump built his brand partially on the backs of screwing over people he had more power than. It was apparently incredibly common for a contractor on a Trump project to not be paid, and when they asked for payment were told they could accept pennies on the dollar or deal with crippling court fees. While the company would cite dissatisfaction with the work, there was at least one case where they were refusing to pay for 'shoddy work' while simultaneously asking the same contractor if they would join another project.

Trump is used to being able to bully and absue the system for his own benefit. Honesty, trust, and integrity are for suckers--fuck over the other guy because he can't do anything about it, and if you make money it makes you smart.

International politics doesn't work like this, obviously, but this sort of short-sighted posturing is 100% pure Trump.

Literally everyone is for the deal except him (and Netanyahu but that's expected) and to no one's surprise doesn't even seem to understand what it is.

Somebody find out which TV person told him to do this

Fuck Donald Trump. This is literally one of the worst decisions he's made since he's come into office.

There is NO REASON why this should be decertified.

Edit: glad Rouhani is taking the high road, for the moment at least.

Edit 2: Almost any chance of getting to a deal with North Korea is off the table. We have no commitment credibility now. This tremendously dangerous to our dealing moving forward. And for what? To spite a man because of the color of his skin...
