Twitch tracking eye movement confirmed. "View history"...
OP, what do you have to say for yourself?
There is nothing wrong with tank tops but I think the issue is the part of streamers who take it to extremes. I also think it's stupid to ban shirtless streaming for men but the control for women's streaming is still a bit off sometimes.
It is one thing to say that their system sucks and another to imply that they are deliberately pushing "boob streamers", as OP implied. The entire premise is that this is a marketing ploy to push "teenage boys towards these boob streamers"? That seems very flimsy.

I wasn't serious. Maybe disable third-party cookies?I and many other people here have posted our personally viewing history recommendations that feature some of the same female streamers that have been complained about by others regardless of not viewing the channels in question, or even the games they play.
Go try reading the thread.
There are multiple examples in this thread from people who barely follow/view ANY content on Twitch that are getting recommended some of the same female streamers in question (i.e. ITS LIT FAM).
SOME people are not experiencing this, that's fine, there are examples of that too, but dismissing the handful of us that don't watch the streamers (or games) in question that are being promoted in this recommendation feed is flimsy too.
The fewer content you watch and/or follow, the more volatile will your recommendations be. I'm trying right now to see what recommendations I can get from just following two channels.
Nah, I'm not dismissing that people get these recommendations, I'm saying that the premise of Twitch pushing boob streamers for business reasons is flimsy. I don't follow Twitch enough to make an educated comment on its economy though.

Actually that's interesting, for those of you getting all these garbage recommendations how many people are you following that actively stream? I think I only follow about 25 people, of which only like 5 of them still stream nowadays. I actually wonder if there is something else in play here as well, since I've seen a few Giant Bomb video recommendations (like currently) but I always watch GB streams on their website and not Twitch. There are multiple examples in this thread from people who barely follow/view ANY content on Twitch that are getting recommended some of the same female streamers in question (i.e. ITS LIT FAM).
I like games,
I like girls,
I like boobs.
The fuck is the problem? Next people will be complaining about porn being on their Sky TV box which is also the same box which lets them watch Dexter and Storage Wars. Just don't watch it and stop being a baby about.

Would you complain if an advertisement for porn came on during an episode of Storage Wars? Because that's what's happening here (only to follow your stupid analogy, I'm not comparing boob streamers to porn). The complaint isn't that "OH NOES THARS BEWBZ ON TWITCH THINK OF TEH CHILLRENZ" the complaint is that the cleavage streams are being pushed on people that don't watch or want to watch them on a page that should just be a curated list of the games and streams they follow.
Thanks for being one of the many ignorant, reductive posters in this thread making this a war on boobs tho. Really good input.
Blame other users for their habits then, or get over it. Is cleavage really this bothersome to you?
I go to Twitch to watch videogames and people playing videogames. Not to watch girls who happen to play videogames.
Well I consider myself a heavy Twitch user (I follow many, many channels for almost every game I ever play) that doesn't ever watch "boobstreamers" and I am getting them in my feed. There are enough examples like me that this is suspect. This isn't just a case of the lack of things for Twitch to recommend leading to them defaulting to the boob girls.

It would be equally bothersome if GAF started running ads with women in bikinis on them. It's not appropriate for the content of the site.
Yes it is when you want quick access to streamers you follow. Sifting through garbage you have no interest in to get to what you want to watch is a bother even if it's boobs in push up bras.
It's really not that complicated.

No, these things are not not equal to that at all. If they're playing games on twitch then they are appropriate for twitch as long as they are not nude. Now if someone's twitch channel was them at the beach then you would have an argument.
Mine looks almost the same. I don't watch any female players, only DDRJake (which used to occupy every single spot in this list) and tournaments in different games (mostly DotA 2, Melee, Warcraft 3 and Brood War) + speedruns. I suspected my account got hacked before and changed the password but it still got worse afterwards.I can't agree that the "Based on your Viewing History" statement is accurate:
I've never watched a single overwatch, WoW or Division stream in my life, nor have I watched "Q&A streams" (funny, they used to ban people for EITHER not having a game or showing cleavage). 99% of my viewing history is speedrunners and FGC events. There's only one actually related video in there.
I watch a couple women streamers but they play games they don't do...whatever is going on in those thumbnails. Twitch isn't exactly balanced gender-wise and I don't think crap like that is helping
Lol I can never find boob Streams!
Maybe you said "show ur boobs plz" in chat.
Oh no, a woman with cleavage! Do you turn around in real life if you see a woman in a shirt showing some cleavage? Seriously.
Wait you go to twitch to watch videogames and people playing them, but wont watch a girl playing a game? Cause thats what that sounded like.
WTF
I went onto: https://www.twitch.tv/directory/videos/week
And it also has "ITS LIT FAM" on there...
I've never watched her or anything she plays on her channel.

You can't "switch the channel" the promoted streamers show up smack dab in the middle of your "following" page, which is a list of all channels you follow, hosted channels and games that you follow. It's a big fat pandering promotion right in the middle of a list of things that are otherwise wholly curated by you.
Please don't objectify streamers. I thought GAF was better than shaming female gamers for being female.
Look, I know a lot of people in this thread want to believe that it's someone getting outraged that boob streamers exist, but maybe take a step back and read.
This isn't about whether or not he personally thinks there should be these kind of streamers on there or not.
It's about how, despite never watching any of these kinds of streams, somehow Twitch has injected them into his, and many others, "Recommended for you" style pages.
And the running theory is Twitch is trying to capitalize on how these women are streaming themselves this way in order to get more attention/more money.
Are the women free to do so? Yes, because if it's their choice to do so then that is an empowering decision.
But if Twitch is actively advertising these women to people because of them being "boob streamers?" You'd think most people would have a problem with that.
Let's get to the root of the problem. Who are you afraid is going to see this on your screen.
