Twitter does amazing things, if you are salty about something and have a blue checkmark or have enough of a following without that blue checkmark. You can get what you want.Oh no, one random person in the world was upset at lines of text in vidya game!
Quick multimillion-dollar developer, fix this ASAP or you get Twitter mob outrage, you understand?
And these people talk about privilege.
I can’t tell what is satire anymore.
Of course they can feel bad about their problems, why not?I really don't see the point in this. Are we saying that someone that has a burnt face is not allowed to feel bad about it?
Sounds more like oppression rather than liberation.
I fully agree. They should not remove it.The problem here are those "artists" that prefer to pander to those feelings over their original vision for the thing they are creating.
i do think the over-reaction is because we live in a time with the most privilege ever. things are soooo good. people have it soooo good. it's why they have to go out of their way and complain about fictional viking raids. you literally have all the rights. you are not oppressed in any way. you are just a whining baby. you have to go out of your way and sanitize a game where you play a god damn violent viking raider! this is how privileged you are. even your violent historical fantasies must be made safe.Talk about 1st world problems! When do we reach peak insanity?
Sometimes I think that Islam and China becoming the dominant forces in the world is no bad thing. They would shut this nonsense down on day 1, there'll be no 'human rights' to cling to. Moaning about what some NPC says in a video game will be the least of your worries.
Ok, why is that person bitching about it and not the girlfriend that apparently has an issue about the character of a video game?

One could think that those kind of people like getting offended and posting about it on twitter.some people just shouldn't play video games, or even socialize in general if you are THAT easily offended
Kinda sad if their ego depends of it.
I kinda like it, it's a nice way of noticing if a gamedev is there to pander to those "masses" and get their money or if they really care about what they are creating.what's more sad is when companies feel like they have to comply otherwise be canceled
