Here we go.
I'm level 35. Been there for a while. Took me 10-12 hours to get there. I've played all of the available modes at least 10 times.
Gameplay
+The health is fine. FINE. 2 full rounds from a GMAL, half a mag from an AK or M9, or a full pistol mag is more than enough. No more, NO LESS.
+Throwing back grenades is easier than before, which is great. More of a radius to actually hit triangle, and the fuse is reset when you throw it back too. It's actually better than trying to roll or jump out of the way.
+Warp melees are gone! They only happen when lag is present now.
+No more immunity when pulling someone down. If they're still in the middle of the animation, you can run up to them and kick them off.
+The turrets have been nerfed! But they're kind of useless now
-Health regen is too fast. The time it takes for health to start recovering is about right, but when it recovers, it's a little bit too quick.
-Sprint speed is way too fast now, and endurance recovers too quickly. THIS IS THE MAIN PROBLEM AND AFFECTS A LOT OF THE GAME'S FUNDAMENTALS. A lot of the game right now boils down to sprinting around, softening targets with MAC10s and KAL9s, and finishing with a melee. Many don't even bother aiming down the sights now because people move too fast.
-Treasure drops are now INSANELY rare. This would be fine, but it's still really easy to get duplicate drops. I can't even count the number of times I've gotten those fucking Subway pieces of shit. I really with there weren't any repeat drops.
-Good god, the spawns. I don't see nearly as many spawns in front of the other team as I did in UC2 and the beta, but do you have to spawn me at the very other side of the map every single time??
-Why you no keep impact sounds when bullets hit?
-Entering cover still feels really weird. Hitting circle several times kind of messes the part where you get locked into cover, unlike UC2.
-Reward for high fives is still too low. Not worth getting my ass shot to fist bump somebody.
-Getting hit by bullets do not slow you down.
*People complain a lot about the accuracy. It's FINE. See the very end for an explanation.
*There is practically no auto aim anymore. Again, FINE. See the end.
*Personal complaint: It takes a while to actually throw grenades now (as in you have to wait half a second before the grenade comes out of your hand if you're using L1+L2). Yet, you can shit grenades instantly and directly downwards if you roll.
*Is it even possible to do air takedowns in the MP?
Guns
+All weapon sounds are a lot better than they were before. But shouldn't the HMG and the KAL9 have different sounds
?
-The Para9 still has this issue where if you press R1 faster than the gun can shoot, the rate of fire slows down. Annoying for me, since I'm a masher.
-Also, the Para9 is too weak. If you want a close-combat pistol, use the MAC10. If you rather have it for ranged combat, then this gun should be a decent option. But it isn't. The power feels like what it was in the very beginning of the beta. Revert it back to the end of the beta.
-I kinda feel that the regular shotgun has a really slow rate of fire. If you wanted a gun for close range combat right now, there are better options.
-The Mag (hand cannon) fires too quick. It's kind of beastly at all ranges right now.
-Reload for the T-Bolt is too slow. It's not surprising not many people use it.
*Recoil on all guns have been changed (increased). I am INDIFFERENT to this.
*No more custom guns with multiple boosters. Instead, we have to pray for treasure sets that unlock unique guns (instead before where treasures unlocked clothing). I don't have a problem with this, but I've already mentioned the problem with treasures above under gameplay.
*Probably just not used to the MP yet, but have weapon respawn times for power weapons increased from 2min?
Maps
Airstrip
+Well the intro is better balanced than before.
-I still hate the intro.
Desert Village
+Map is pretty good! The environmental effect is kind of annoying, but I'll deal with it.
London Underground
-The intro sucks my ass. It's only worse that it's 3min long. Can't even begin to count how many times I'll die by falling off the train every single time.
-The low end of the station is never used for anything except spawns.
Syria
-It's kind of dark, and it's kind of large. Since I have no idea where any of the weapon spawns are except for the rockets, it's easiest to just run around with a weapon that excels at close range
Power Plays
+I like how power plays can end how if the team is able to pull them off successfully a few times.
*I actually saw Double Damage as a power play once. Did ND just undo most of the changes they made during the beta and start from scratch again? I MIGHT be OK with this power play if it only happened if the other team is leading by like 15 kills.
Game Types
-In Team Objectives, the order of gametypes that appear during a game don't seem to be random. Also, locations aren't random either. For example, if a game starts out on KotH on London Underground, I always know where the first and second hill will be.
-So why the hell isn't there OT for objective games?
-There should be no power weapons in 2v2v2 or FFA.
Boosters/Kickbacks
-The Treasure Hunter booster. Leveling it up requires picking up 3 treasures in ONE game? Do you even know how hard this is now with the low amount of drops!? Even worse, since this booster isn't accounted for in Hardcore, I can imagine getting treasures in that mode to be a nightmare.
-You want me to do HOW many assassination kills per game to level up Cloaked?
*Man
So many different boosters were removed, and I have a feeling they won't be unlockable at higher level when the full game releases either. I miss the quick weapon swap

*Does Treasure Hunter increase the drop rate from enemies, as well as chests? The description doesn't say so, but I seem to get more drops when I have it equipped.
*Not sure how I feel about Speedy G and the remaining time you have left carrying over after you die. Pretty sure none of the other kickbacks do this.
*Reducing the kickback RPG to one round was probably for the best. But why does carpet bomb unlock as such a high level compared to the RPG, which you start with?
Interface
+At last, we arent forced to view the paid boosters screen before a match starts
+The voices and lines that the characters give are excellent. Should add voices for high fives though.
+Music is really good. The quick themes that pop up during power plays and when a match is about to end are all fantastic.
+The icon that appears above someone's head indicating that you can get a stealth kill is a FANTASTIC idea!
-When a match is being set up, the chat icons that appear when someone is talking is completely hidden. The only way to see it is to highlight the person's name, where it appears over the network latency icon. Also, there is no chat icon on the HUD during a game either.
-There's this glitch that happened in UC2 that happens here. Sometimes, even if you're with a party, you might get placed into a game while everyone else stares at the lobby screen without even knowing that you're in the middle of a game. I think this sometimes happens if you join a party while they're in the middle of a game.
-Like before, why the heck can't we see more detailed information on the games that our friends are playing and the party they are playing with? It was there in UC2, why not here?
-Why doesnt the scoreboard show assists if you bring it up midgame?
-If you become the new Marked Man, you should be notified more than a little green shield in the bottom right corner of the screen.
-The new invite notification kind of covers up other stuff if it appears in the lobby.
-I wish you could customize the colors of the custom clothes.
-Getting to the mute all in the lobby (highlighting you OWN name) is kind of stupid. It should work on any of the players in the lobby.
-Map voting should stop when the number is greater than the players in the lobby divided by 2.
*Pretty sure we still can't join ongoing games that friends are playing.
*Is the option to view tips in the lobby even necessary
?
The big problems that people are highlighting include sprinting, health, no auto aim, and recoil. While you can adjust any of these for a potential fix, I really feel that sprinting is the core issue here. Sprinting, when compounded with a bunch of other factors, affects so many different things about the game. For example, headshots, which used to mean something, are hard as hell to get now. I use the MAC10 and KAL9 for cheap kills myself when the situation calls for it, simply because it's effective. The bottom line is if the sprint speed was reduced, you would see less people trying to get in close for a melee kill.
Frankly, there is a lot of fucking whining, bitching, and moaning right now. Even for GAF. People these days are too used to games like COD with extravagant amounts of auto aim, no recoil on guns, perfect accuracy, and low health. You know what? Get used to it. If you complain about wanting games that are less like COD, than here it is. Don't fucking cry about it because you're not used to it and you think it sucks. Really, GAF is full of people who are afraid of any kind of change. Give it a few more weeks, and I can already see people complaining less. Like always. Of course, we'll have the stubborn ones, but whatever. Speaking of change, people are talking about how awful this retail MP is. It's because people are comparing it to UC2 and the previous versions of the UC3 beta. Try to stop comparing it for a minute and look at it as its own unique thing. The beta was a beta. To get feedback to shape the final product. Not necessarily how the game was going to turn out.
Oh, and for all the people saying how the GMAL is a worthless, can you please explain to me how I can outgun people with it at long, medium, AND short ranges? Yeah, I can kill people with it without using the second zoom, even if the other guy is using an AK, M9, or anything else. You want to complain about accuracy? I would say that the AK and M9 are inaccurate as hell, and yet I still see most people using those guns.
