I am REALLY enjoying this. Feels like uncharted 2, and buddy system rocks, I was rofling when got my first Hi-5!

I love when a game encourages some kind of squad system (killzone, mag) so this is great!

Me and my mate were highfiving and then we got both got rocketlaunched. And you would not believe how hard we cracked up. Love it. someone should have youtubed that video,

seriously did think that they nailed nathan drake's look in 2; in 3, he looks older and fatter while scully seems to have become younger.
 
GGs to my fellow GAFers tonight! Team Objective is so fun with a full party. I don't think we lost one game in TO. :3

To be honest the M9 is still the only gun to use(For me at least). The secondary weapons still suck. Only good for blind fire and ass at range. I use them only when I have no choice. Pretty much given up on them.
 
You know what I really enjoy? The fact that the levels are really vertical, they have lots of climbing and stuff. Uncharted 2 maps were pretty flat in comparison.

Really liking the desert map, and that sandstorm! woo, the whole dynamic of the man seems to change.
 
Heh some people were still going for hits rather then shooting in some matches, I'm either good , great, bad, awful in matches haha.

Still fun though, my M9 :D and airplane level is all I need.
 
This game is infinitely more fun when you play with a full party of gaffers, even tough we ran into a bs team that was trying to TDM on Plunder...

Also, it was nice seeing Gyrian again <3
 
Well ND opened a thread on the official forums regarding people who've been reset back to square 1. No word on whether or not people
me
will get their stuff back though.
 
last time(2 days ago) I played U3 it was still a melee fest is it different now?

The game definitely plays a lot better than last weekend. I was very negative towards the beta last weekend and pretty much hated it. Now it actually is enjoyable. I have to say though that I still prefer the U2 mp, even in its current state.

ND should add a bit more stopping power to the guns and it would be near perfect. Blindfiring is still a bit too effective and increasing the stopping power of guns when aiming would help with that. Maybe not a very popular opinion, but I'd like the game more without kick backs. I feel they add too much randomness to the game. I don't mind power plays though.

Thanks for the awesome games yesterday DerekS, WOWbaggr and everlong416. We were owning. :) I also noticed that many people can't aim at all and pretty much only rely on blindfiring, even most of the "high levels". Same thing with strafing. Most people seem to be very bad at it.

Shame I can't play with my American and non psn+ owning Euro friends, because the subway beta isn't compatible with European beta. On the other hand, the matches are now relatively lag free, because I'm only playing against other European players.
 
treasure hunter booster really makes a differnce once its LVL2ed. Thanks to whoever mentioned that you need to pick up the treasures off kills - that made the difference. Got it in 2 matches.wasted so much time raiding chests before. At least 3-4 hours.
 
Man, I've encountered sooo many technical hitches tonight - random removal from games (not kicked), dynamic levels fucking up, not getting into games with the rest of my party (FIX THIS SHIT NAUGHTY DOG - IT WAS PRESENT IN THE JULY BETA).

Will check. Allready liked it, but things seemd off..
 
You guys might not realize this but ND Stealth patches the game.

They don't tell you what has changed, they just change it. For example, in the E3 beta, at one point in time, the AK47 was the most powerful gun, they ended up stealth patching it to buffer it.

The balancing now feels good, and they figured a way to make sprint / stopping power go hand in hand.

You guys need to play, and try to keep an open mind. Its not a fucking placebo effect mang.

No. I strongly disagree. It's not amazing yet. The slight changes ND made did make the game a little bit better, but it still has long ways to go until it's perfect. There's so much little details that need to be fixed until I can call it amazing and more specifically: fun. I'd still pick the summer beta over this version. The stopping power did make a dfference, but not enough to convince more than half of the online players to press L1 to aim. Until ND can figure something out to convince people to aim in this game, it will probably never top Uncharted 2's MP for me gunplay wise.

I saw the post on the ND forums where Evan writes stuff they're addressing, but he hasn't posted anything about new updates. Unlike before, they're actually being straightforward to us this time.

Nice, was coming in here to post some positive feedback with the changes, but I see plenty done. Played all night and had a blast.

I'm wondering are we able to change colors of clothes we buy in the full game? I'm not sure if I'm remembering this right but weren't we able to change colors in Beta1?

People are still going to blind fire in the game no matter what they do.Thats just how some people will play.
 
I have no idea what the hell some of you are talking about with these fixes. It plays the same as it did immediately after the announced patch which is certainly not up to par.
 
Why is the movement so fucking slippery? There is NO reason I should act like I'm on ice all the time even when sprinting.

Also, double KOs are annoying. Really effing annoying. If I kill them before they do me, I should never ever die. Period. Not up for discussion. End of story.

I disagree mang :-/. The only thing I would do is still add more auto-aim when people use L1 and maybe give them damage boost.
 
I'm waiting for some credible feedback, not just from thuway. No offense, thuway... it's just going to take a LOT of convincing (and fixing) for me to boot it up and play. One guy I don't know isn't going to help. But when the other folks who have shared my feelings start singing the praise, I'll be in attendance.

Because to me, it seems like you're just playing the patched version from a few days ago which wasn't that big of a fix, but a step in the right direction.

I think they would have said they change some things, nothing yet.I think you finally got use to it after the first fixes.
 
It does feel different from when I tried it the day it came out. But it's not necessarily better. I went form 2/8 to 7/8 kinda scores, which is an improvement, but still horrible from what I was doing in Uncharted 2/UC3 Beta.

You move like someone's who skating on ice for the first time, but cannot fall down, yet still believe they can. It's messed up royally.
 
Yeah, way too fast. Now I loathe whoever called the initial beta too slow. It was perfect. Fuck.

If ND doesn't want to create the game I want to play, then why were people annoyed at me when I exclaimed I'll buy used? It's as much disrespect to me as it is to them imo. I'm not buying used, but still...
 
I'm not buying it new, that's for sure. If you move around this sloppy in the beta, I don't want to know how you move around in the single player.

You're crazy. ND can do server side patches but EvangM even said that they would be transparent about any changes they make. In the summer beta they patched it so that accuracy when blindfiring from cover with the AK47 was increased. And that wasn't a stealth patch as I remember downloading updates for the beta.

It's pretty hard to judge how any changes ND have made have affected things as so many people are still in the habit of sprinting and hipfiring.

Kneejerk changes to the multiplayer will do that. Plus, while I played Uncharted 2 for the single player, I stayed for the multiplayer.

Did they fix sprint in the last 12 hours? Because that's still causing most matches to turn into a brawl fest.
