Don't let the door hit you on the way out

I hope ND does not go the predictable route of making Sam evil and repeat Uncharted 2. It would actually be unexpected that he is a good guy till the end, which is what I hope happens.

This is such a bizarre post. Spielberg is one of the best shooters of all time, full stop. Steven Soderbergh (who is now slouch in terms of cinematography) said this about Raiders:
It's not just an "horribly unfair" comparison- it's ludicrous.

...?

Yeah, he's one of the best.

That makes him a perfect example of something done right, not something to which we throw up our hands and say "well, this will never be as good."

I acknowledged it was unfair because almost any director would loose in a head to head, not because being good elevates something to a mythical, incomparable standard.

Put another way, the reaction should be "Let's try to be like Raiders," and not "Raiders is an untouchable triumph to which we cannot aspire."

Boring?...

That was honestly the best scene out of any Uncharted game maybe outside of this:

My favorite scene has to be the one Drake meets Lazarevic for the first time. Loved everything about it.

But yeah, that Drake and Sam scene was strong and far from boring.

I really like the opening scenes in Drake's fortune, where they find the journal and the scene after when they abandon Elena.

That was an amazing scene. But honestly, I'd prefer to have more pew pew boom at a conference. No need to spoil a cutscene :C

But yeah, it was quite cool. Really can't wait for this game.

Looks dope as fucking hell. The dialogue choices look natural in that instance I like em.

Seriously though that was a great "person thought dead is alive" scene.

I cannot adequately describe the ferocity with which I was masturbating during that trailer. Holy. Fucking. Shit.

Druckmann/Straley 2016.

Gonna be honest. Before this trailer Quantum Break and Dark Souls 3 were tied for my most anticipated 2016 game. Now? It ain't even a competition. I need this game. This is why I bought a PS4.

I loved the scene, and it was so interesting to see TLOU's cinematography carry over into Uncharted.

I'm not sure how I feel about an odd interactive dialogue choice, though, as I feel like with its introduction this beautiful, emotional scene suddenly ground right to a halt, and I was thrown out of the moment. I guess I feel like Nate didn't need me for the rest of the dialogue, so why ask me now? It just felt really jarring. (It's surprising, I wouldn't have thought I'd be against sporadic interactive dialogue, but the scene immediately lost all of that wonderful flow.)

Not to mention the implementation looked very gamey and added last minute lol

I gotta say... I don't know if it's direction or Nolan North's improvement over the years, but the couple of cut-scenes they've shown so far have dispayed amazing realism. Drake feels as natural as ever.
