THIS. Worst casting ever.Sony casting directors must be incompetent.
The remaster/upgrade looks more like him, ironically.Kind of funny Spider-Man in the game looks nothing like Tom Holland and Tom Holland looks nothing like Nathan Drake. Why Sony why !!??
Watch this, its so much more layered, emotional, better dialog ... etc. The Movie just feels cheap and dumped down in comparison.I genuinely don't understand where people's expectations come from....like what in the world are you expecting to see? Why would have made it better? From the previews it looks interesting enough and seems to capture the feel of the characters. It could still end up being bad but many of you are acting as if you've seen it. The casting isn't that bad. I also wanted Nathan Fillion to play Drake but so far I think the movie could turn out to be good or entertaining at-the-least.
I think it will be a cool pop corn movie. Im there
He will probably get it by the end of the movieThe story actually looks pretty good.
What happened to Marks moustache and old man makeup?

If he makes a homage to this meme then I forgive them for the cast. But well, Antonio is the only one that fits there maybe because he isn't playing a game character.
People like posting this but the actor doesn't look like that anymore. He could play Sully instead.
This gif is from 2009. It's been 12 years so yeah.People like posting this but the actor doesn't look like that anymore. He could play Sully instead.

He's also everything but athletic. That video everyone likes to post .... imagine that guy doing actual stunt work in any way.
I get it he's cool but it doesn't work right now.
In this case it's not like Uncharted has any special history. It's just a generic (but big budget) treasure hunting game that only really became popular because of the lack (at the time) of a good Tomb Raider game in its place (first Uncharted came out in 2007, while the first good Tomb Raider in a long time didn't come til 2013).Have you ever noticed people tend to say a movie looks "fun" whenever they have nothing remarkable to say about it?
It's like a nicer way of calling something mediocre or forgettable.
Although I never understood why you'd want to equate fun with mediocrity.
I actually agree with you about Uncharted to an extent. What made it special was being a game.In this case it's not like Uncharted has any special history. As such I don't really obliged at all to say anything remarkable ;D
