Sony fans are beta males confirmed, they're too scared to enter a competition against a real person.
What can you win? Aside eports it's just a giant waste of time.
Sony fans are beta males confirmed, they're too scared to enter a competition against a real person.
Your entire post hinges on the idea that PlayStation gamers behave radically different than XBox gamers.
Every piece of data that we've ever seen suggests they don't.
The story has been debunked.
Give the data. Your whole fucking post on theses threads can't simply be "debunked" or " they don't" or "bogus" etc

Assassin's Creed Valhalla is the best-selling UK boxed game in one of the biggest release weeks in video games history.…www.gamesindustry.biz
"42% of the game's sales came on PS4, and 18% came on PS5, despite the latter machine not coming out in the UK until next week. The rest of the sales (40%) came with the Xbox version"
Basically 60% of its sales came from Playstation fans. Its not shocking as when they buy stuff like Horizon, Days Gone, Ghost Of Tsushima etc, clearly they enjoy single player titles, thus exist MORE on PS to buy those titles to this degree.
"Yakuza: Like A Dragon makes No.20, with 65% of unit sales coming on PS4 and 35% on 'Xbox'"
The factual numbers show by an almost absurd amount PS single player titles simply move more units, the community buys MORE single player games FACTUALLY and even when a game that is single player is on both systems, even in a situation where 360 at the time had MORE UNITS, many single player games still sold BETTER on PS3, so we can relax with the whole "bud da got mo units" argument.
So at the end of the day, PS4 likely sold more units for what PS4 offers that XB doesn't to the same degree, single player games. Which answers why many of those IP did better on PS, it has a community that primarily enjoys that concept, no different then something like Just Dance might sell better on Nintendo or why some MP titles do better on XB.
The actual factual data and numbers provided supports this.
Not simply screaming "debunked" or "bogus" until you are blue in the face. So this is where I need to add you on that ignore list.
just wondering, some those who against single player game here, are they actually just purely didnt like single player genre or just merely denied it just because it something closely-related to sony?
They are not a Sony exclusive but Sony stood their ground and made great SP games with little to no microtransactions when much of the industry was going the other way.Jesus Christ. Sony fanboys claiming single player games as Sony exclusive now? I never play multiplayer - ever - I exclusively play single player games. Have all three consoles and PC - order of preference: Xbox, Switch, PC, PlayStation.

To think PlayStation gamers have drastically different habits is laughable.
You can't even use punctuation correctly, why the hell would I listen to you?
The drastic difference which you seem to sidestep is "What has Sony as a publisher delivered to their audience?" Once you take that into consideration the point you're trying to make becomes invalid.
Don't you love it when Xbox guys go contraian on obvious Playstation stats, when the actual data is public. The drastic difference which you seem to sidestep is "What has Sony as a publisher delivered to their audience?" Playstation gamers buy both, the ultra popular games like - RDR2, GTA5, Minecraft, COD, AC, etc. They also buy more single player games than Xbox gamers, that is an inarguable fact.
This is irrelevant data.
The argument isn't what sells more. It's what's played more often.
This is my impression as well. Given the choice, most would probably choose multiplayer but there's so much bullshit attached to playing a multiplayer game (and additional costs) that most are probably annoyed. Most companies have bungled the multiplayer game experience. I still enjoy a good MP game but nowadays playing one is like buying a house, you need to invest all this time and energy into it, with GAAS shit, battle pass, unlock grinding, it is so dumb and annoying. And I know, technically, you don't "have to", but these companies have teams of people to design these systems to give you FOMO if you're not, to keep you locked in. So more often than not I just don't bother.
The world is not black and white. Just because most articles by Vice are garbage doesn't mean that everything by them is. Just as sometimes Scheier says something interesting by accident, even though that dude is only interested in himself. Also, GAF's politics forum is hot fucking garbage anyway.NeoGAF when reading something from Vice about politics, culture, or gender: "Lul Vice trash"
NeoGAF when reading something from Vice claiming single player is more popular than multiplayer: "OMG, Vice is great!"
What are you even arguing? The ultra popular 3rd party games stay popular for a reason, they are ultra popular with the masses. No exclusives compete with those select few. And totally shocked, that single player exclusives are not as popular as games with a multi component/sarcasm.This isn't about purchasing. It's about playing.
You can't possibly see the best and most popular single player third party games drop like a rock on XBox + Steam and believe the trend is any different on PlayStation.
His argument to my understanding is, the COD'S, GTA5, Fortnite, etc, are at the top of the most played monthly list for Xbox and Playstation, so therefore the single player games are not as important. Anything to downplay the success of Sony's single player ips is his actual argument, if you pull the drapes back and take a peek.Aren't both directly correlated? If you're refuting someone else's credible data and reports, at least back your own claim with data.
What are you basing your argument on other than "gut feelings"?
Someone should tweet this to Rockstar.

Shawn Layden just liked my Tweet. Hmm...I wonder why.
No, they're not.
Buying games and playing games are two completely different things. Many single player games are one and done, while many multiplayer games are played for months and years in many cases.
I'm basing my argument on the trends SteamCharts and XBox Most Played Games list have shown us for years.
It's unfathomable to think PlayStation games don't follow those exact same trends.
PC fanboys are retarded pedophiles. Enjoy your "truth".And you can't stand the truth, that truth being - All consoles games come with gimped performance modes now - at best, whereas PC can run games in MP at max settings, with level's that have not been shrunk down to fit a specific demographic/resolve performance issues - even on inferior hardware.
But enjoy your lesser MP gaming ecosystem, I wouldn't keep you from it.

The company's own data showed that people were spending more time playing the company's own single player games
The day single player dies, I will stop video gaming after 40 years.single player shall never die
Im sure your mindset will change, when the upcoming Xbox big single player games start dropping.
Imo this applies maybe to the 5-6m core audience, outside GTA.
While the much larger subset out there, dont want to spend time going through long cinematics single player games.
The money is with the mp games.
I certainly would prefer pick and go mp games. I couldnt even finish TW3. You reach a point of sp games, where it becomes predictable and repeatable.
Mp games are more fresh, competitive and dynamic.

Then you'd be very disappointed that MS acquired Bethesda, and with the announcements of Hellblade 2, Avowed, Fable, The Medium, Scorn, Stalker, etc. Right?
I think he is, but then again our friend here is a bit strange, he thinks that Battle Royale games were the best thing to happen in the last generation. Are you upset by this or something?

That's the beauty of single player games. New story and gameplay mechanics with each new entry. Why would they not drop over time? You play them, finish them (or not) and go to next one which has new story/gameplay to enjoy.
Its why I bought PS4 Pro over Xbox One X.
6Terfloppy Super duper mega monster killah can't replace
Ghost of Tsushima,
Death Stranding,
God Of War,
Uncharted 4,
Horizon Zero Dawn,
Dreams,
Gran Turismo Sport,
The Last of Us 2,
Days Gone.
Before my purchase I legit compared this above list to what Xbox had at the time and what was coming and I ended up with:
Gears of War 5,
Halo 5,
Forza Horizon 4,
Forza 5.
So yes, exclusive story driven games apart from GT Sport is what drove me to go PS. Crazy thing is I have not yet finished them all. I'm waiting on PS5 to finish these campaigns in glorious 4K and hopefully 60fps across the board.
EDIT: My post is not intended to start a list war. It's just a means to explain my reasoning for choosing PS.
Don't worry about MS they know that.Someone should tweet this to Microsoft.
"The presentation opens by saying "everyone knows single player is dying," with a list of the top-selling PlayStation 4 video games that seems to crib this sales list, showing games like Grand Theft Auto V and Black Ops 3 dominating sales because of their multiplayer modes. "
