Not a lot of people my age on here it seems. Ive been pretty active on all sorts of forums since i was 15. So far never met anyone in real life that does the same. 19 btw

Most people in their 20s look 19 these days. Hell, I get asked my age for a Lottery Ticket! (Legal age in the UK is 16).

I am sure there are a few but most do tend to use Discord now.

I'm not shocked at this forum being older.
Younger kids need hyper controlled areas like Resetera.

Nah, that's a personality thing, not an age thing. Age polls over there show about the same as this poll (couldn't find one with a quick search, but have seen them). Which makes sense as most members there were here before and many are on both sites. Most people didn't go over there for the "SJW" slant and moderation, but because that's where the active Game OTs, community threads and news posters went.

Anyway, this age trend is true on most traditional forums--most members are older millennials or Gen Xers. Those are the people who got on the internet in their tweens to early twenties when forums were super popular. The older generations never got into it as much and the younger generations hit the internet when forums were declining and social media and Reddit were the dominant platforms for talking with randoms online.
