Completely agree Ellen Page as part of the cast just made the show go from meh to Golden and even after she left it still was goodOnce Ellen Page joins the cast is where it gets excellent, but the first season is pretty great overall. It's a slow start to establish the characters, but picks up fairly quickly after the first few episodes.
It takes 3 or 4 episodes to get the relationships. If you're not into by then, drop it.
The show gets better as time goes on in an Arrested Development type of way with running gags/foreshadowing. One of the best comedies out there.
I really like the Netflix seasons... except for ten which sucks.
Netflix seasons gave us the liquor smurf, which I will always be grateful for.
Its wayyyyyy better than IAS, you just have poor taste.
People always compare this show to It's Always Sunny's greatness, but I am not seeing it so far.
Lahey is such a convincing alcoholic too
What, do you own space? No, Naysa does.It doesn't take rocket appliances to understand, just watch & enjoy the show.
You know wha' I'm sayin?
dont compare it to IAS.
Did you kill him?I don't see that friend much anymore.
For me, the funniest scene from the early series has to be Trinity shooting Ricky in the ass with a random gun that Ricky fires immediately when finding it.Funniest scene in television history: the high speed helicopter chase in which Bubbles flips the vehicle the Boys are riding in and Julian emerges with a full glass of rum and coke. I almost died when I saw that scene for the first time.

Also, all of the off-screen yelling character and Bubbles' muppet.

It's definitely not for everyone. My girlfriend loathes TPB, so I would watch it on my lunch break.
Maybe try one of the movies? They're alright.
