A lot of the time laughter comes from difficult situations. I remember using jokes to get through my grandmother's death (which was very difficult for me), the fact that laughter can be a coping mechanism isn't an excuse to be overly crass to the point of offending other people who are dealing with the same thing, but we shouldn't feel bad for laughing to ourselves.Link said:
