With The Taken King, are Destiny's problems fixed?

Destiny's grindy leveling system was fixed ages ago. Now it's got totally different problems. No way to know if TTK will fix THOSE until it's actually out.

I agree with this statement in the sense that whenever Bungie fixes something within destiny other problems often come around or we end up with half measures that don't completely fix the problem. The house of wolves did a lot of great things to kill the grind and to make older guns/armors matter.

Along with giving more options for high end armor and armor builds. It still created and kept a handful of problems that still hurt destiny like inventory space, weapon balance, too many currency items, weak HoW Weapons & Armors and uneven pve events. You can name more but the point is who knows how taken king will work until we play it for ourselves. I would guess the same pattern will happen of some things will be for the better while others will still be a problem.

And just to vent it here.

The "Clan" implementation in Destiny is so useless that's not even funny.

The only use is to get the damn trophies.

this....with all the changes I wish they finally did something with the clan features
the dissapointing levels of this deserves it's own thread instead of all the "i hate destiny threads" maybe then the dev's would get a more fleshed out clan system

This game is garbage, we're all falling for the same bullshit a second time around.. Sure, the game will be fun the first 2-3 weeks, and then it's going to be the same shit all over again..

And I already preordered, so I'm part of the problem..

I have a suspicion anyone asking for matchmaking in raids haven't played a lot of Destiny with randoms.

What I would love to see is Bungie bring LFG-like activity over to Bungie.net. The100.io has a neat system for putting people into groups of 100 and having them schedule and sign up for activities amongst themselves. Bungie.net already has support for communities adding this replicates what we have in the DGAF thread at a smaller scale. And when you're apart of a community you have some pressure not to be a jerk.

But plain ol' matchmaking in Raids with just anyone? No, way.

Nope there is no matchmaking for raid so I'm not buying the expansion. I don't want to pay $70 and not able to experience the end game contents is a waste of money.

You can't get through a Dragon Strike these days without one person being AFK or a troll. I for one am glad that there's no matchmaking for Raids. Don't like it? Don't play the game.

The problem with Destiny has been the volume of content relative to how long it has been out. It did not launch with enough content. I'm not sure TTK puts Destiny + 1 year where it should be. We'll have to see what the reaction is when it comes out.
