$5 of plastic for $150
am I missing something?
open your eyes, I'm not the only one who thinks this is overpriced.
Yes, if I understood Phil correctly.
Very intriguing for PC use.
Sorry what? Lots of people are clearly interested but not at this price.
Are you a mod?
Seems Amazon pre-order points to old controller?

Controllers come with low battery indicators so you don't have to do thatWhy would I risk a chance of fumbling around to find AA or a cord when shit is going down in a middle of a game.

This is exactly what I though - Microsoft wants to tap into that Razer Market on PC.
Iv been using my scuf controller and honestly the paddles are so good I couldn't play without them now. The advantage you have in FPS games by not having to take your thumbs off the analogue sticks is insane. Definitely picking one of these up when they're available.
And Pernello talked about this, MS is not expecting big sales from this controller
The PC elite market is mouse and keyboard mostly so I'm not sure if it's going to affect Razers market.
Then why even make it?
MSFT is not in the charity business with tech. They want to sell as much shit as they can. More sales equals more profits equals more happy investors.
Sounds to me he is trying to quell flames of the price-point backlash. "For you hardcores tho, a gift for you!"

When you click the link there are 3 options. The third one is the elite.

I missed the repercussions at the time, but this is actually a huge turn off for me.
One of the main things I like about console multiplayer versus PC is that everyone is on an even playing field. This makes a mockery of that and now if someone out manouevers me in Halo, or whatever, my first thought would be, 'Bet they have the elite controller if they are hitting buttons that quickly' not, 'nice move, my worth opponent'.
If they'd priced it as a replacement, my complaints would have been minimal, but as an elite controller with the price tag to match, they just ensured I stay away from the XBO until this thing is the bundled standard controller at the very earliest.

I feel like people scoffing at this price point should go ahead and prepare themselves for the cost of VR...
