Xbox One Shipment Information Thread

If history tells me anything, its that it will be shipped Wednesday for delivery on Friday. :(


MS should just give the green light to release.
 
I got a weird email from Amazon saying that if my card expires in November 2013 i need to change something

but it doesn't. is this just a preemptive thing?
 
This must be Amazon trying to be proactive after issues with PS4 shipments--I know we saw reports from at least one person whose console didn't ship on time due to an address/card mismatch.
 
Mine is with Amazon and hopefully they will do better than they did with my PS4 pre-order, didnt get that till Monday. Still no sign of movement and I havent received any emails from them to confirm my payment details.
 
Ordered mine at Shopto (UK) then switched to Tesco as my brother got me discount but I had to pay it straight away which means I couldn't tell if my order was progressing because the money was already gone.

Checked today, order changed from "sent to fulfil" to "confirmed" to "ready for dispatch"

Now its just a shame Shopto/Amazon/Game haven't done anything about sending my games! Hopefully get some updates tomorrow.

Got the same e-mail, and the Xbox One is on the same card + address that my PS4 was. They're very likely just having people double-check their orders so that they don't have angry people calling them this Friday.

Well holy hell I've been making phonecalls regarding this because I thought something was messed up. Fuck off Amazon, you gave me a hernia.

They didn't do this for my PS4.
 
Still nothing here on Amazon UK. In my mind it's like the d-day episode (well technically 5th of June) from Band of Brothers where bad weather delays the invasion - 'no jump today'.
 
I keep going and checking the tracking on my XB1 from the MS Store hoping it will have changed and starts showing movement. I'm probably wasting my time though, which makes me very sad; probably won't see anything happen 'til Thursday I'd imagine since it's being shipped next-day. :(

Neither? Is your card expiring soon? I haven't gotten an email and I had both a PS4 and Xbox One on pre-order and got my PS4 last Friday.

Nothing to worry about, I just received the same email and I already have mine paid off with a gift card. They are just making sure your payment method is up to date.
 
Just got that email message about checking my payment information myself, and just now realized that my name is misspelled on my credit card on Amazon. Considering I paid for my PS4 with the same card information, I don't imagine it's going to be a problem, but that's going to make me paranoid all week, now.
 
good on them to make sure people don't have card rejection issues. Especially since most pre-ordered 5 months ago and some could have old cards on there.

Guess something got lost in translation across the border on what Release Day Delivery meant.

Yeah, I'm actually one of those. My debit expired this month and I ordered way back. I actually called them last week to update it manually.

I still got the email...verified...and hit the retry button. Crosses fingers that everything goes well and they start shipping tomorrow.

Mine is going to a PO BOX, though. So I can only do normal shipping on the Day One and they say it will ship on Friday...expected early next week.

Talked to a person from Amazon as to why my day one edition estimated delivery is on Saturday even though I ordered it on June. It was because I used gift cards to pay off the xbox one. Said there is nothing I can do to change it.

Really annoyed.

just got off the phone with Microsoft Store customer service:

pre ordered Ryse, Forza, and Dead Rising on 11/9/2013
have already received email confirmation of day one console having shipped, my card has been charged, pre ordered way in advance

games will apparently not ship until this friday, 11/22/2013

guess ill be out of luck at launch with nothing to play? service rep said it would take your standard 3-5 day shipping to reach me

Still no shipping update for me (despite money being transfered yesterday), I'm guessing it will come wednesday/thursday when they actually ship them all out.

Same thing. They way it's worded in the e-mail, it seems like they are just letting you know they are about to charge your card. Since it's $500, I guess they want to make sure you have your funds ready but if you follow the link the "Retry payment" method makes it seem like they've tried and it failed.

I had a classmate whose father died from a heart attack at 55, practically happened out of nowhere too. It's sad and it sucks no matter how old or young someone you know is though.

Yes, now that I've seen that a lot of people have gotten the same email, it does sound like they are just encouraging everyone to make sure their billing info is up to date before they start to charge the cards.

I doubt it will require signature, but just sign up for mychoice and you can release it. Or on the off chance they use fedex you can give them a call

the other from amazon.. just got the heads up from amazon

Apparently my day one edition games have shipped from GAME. That said, they usually mark stuff as shipped even when they haven't handed them over.
