Xbox360 has the highest attach rate of games after 14 months, why is that?

I certainly hope not. Outside of porn, illegal links, and English magazine scans, posts RARELY get deleted here at GAF. If they're just deleting troll posts, it's a bad precedent indeed.

A ban is a fit punishment for that type of shit. Deleting those posts lets those people get away with it long term, without a post history to prove anything. Admins: I hope this doesn't become a habit. Not only does it create more work for yourselves, but it makes the community less self-monitoring.

Some things were said by a regular poster, that a bunch of people called out.
Blatant trolling that nearly ended the thread before it started.

Edit:Ok I'm not crazy. Regardless, deleted posts may have been for the best.

Odysseus was banned, we all know his shtick. BuddyC tried to salvage this thread by deleting his flame bait. It kind of worked.

Yes and let's never speak of it again.
In fact I don't even know what "it" is.

The cranky snowman was asking for it. Considering how little he was into gaming, I'm surprised he was still here. I think it was a case of "suicide by mod". :lol

But....

I appreciate your opinion but. ^

I'll take your word on it - I know I've read some of Mana Knight's posts before, but he hasn't really stuck in my memory for anything. (I seem to recall questioning his taste in RPG's once, but that's about the only thing that ever left an impression.)

Hell shitty opinions go uncalled upon for every other system so no worries there right?

Point taken. :)

Hey, it's not me saying, 'If you say you played x and didn't think it was any good, we'll check out your gamercard. If we don't see it there, you must be lying. This is one reason gamercards are so great.' I'm just the one saying that it's a ****ed-up mentality to have. Obviously I deserve to be ridiculed for that.

360 has the best online setup. XBL is something special, and I think having such a great online service does a lot for people. One of my friends keeps wanting me to get Crackdown, and if it wasn't for the co-op capabilities, I'd probably pass. Same goes for Gears of War. If it wasn't for the ability to play like we do with GoW, I probably wouldn't have purchased the game.

I think a lot has to be said of it's online appeal.

As for myself, I purchased my 360 in December. I have THP8, GoW, Lost Planet, Viva Pinata, and the 3 BK games.

Rightfully said, it's the online and the ability to play with friends that appeals to me and lots of people.

The download-able demos are a great thing, just try before you buy.

It was a cheap shot I know but I meant it in jest. I'm a very flippant man sometimes. :)

Besides, I really dig that commercial and wanted an excuse to link it. :)

You have to admit that there is a legitimate phenomenon whereby some fanboy of something makes comments like: "oh yeah, I owned this widget or played that game and it sucked" crap on the WWW. I agree that if taken too far it's just stupid though.
