I don't think it's smart at all, because it creates an air of uncertainty and erodes trust. That's the last thing you should want content creators to feel as a platform holder, cos they're your bread and butter. I wouldn't want to feel like my content can be taken down if a video of mine attracts the attention of some wanky video game websites and they start clutching at pearls over it, nor would I want to feel like my only chance of getting my content/channel back is to hope that I can tweet at Boogie or Keemstar and have them help me it. YouTube themselves say they do this on a video to video basis. This is all subjective, so you're never going to get 100% consistency. And if your videos are like his, it'll be best to ask yourself is it worth it to keep creating content like that and then putting it on YT.
