I had no idea this couldn't be done in the previous games, but I never really knocked people down. I'm incredibly polite.

I checked the intro section of the demo on youtube. I found I droped a sentence or two. The conversation continues "Those parents use their kids to pursue their dreams that they couldn't make." and then Kazume went out the noodle shop with anger.
I think Kazuma knows Haruka's dream and knows how hard she is trying to make it happen. He would take the conversation between the guys as a criticism to her more than Kazume let her to be an idol.
It's just my speculation from the trailers and the demo, I guess Haruka's dream is not a typical teenage "I want to be a star someday" kind of stuff but she wants to be for some reasons...Asagao related maybe...
sidenote for those who don't notice, the main theme of Y5 is dream as the subtile of the game.

I enjoyed it a lot. Just don't expect a proper shooter. It's veeery arcadey.
Only if you have low expectations, then you will enjoy it.
The gunplay can be confusing and crap in the beginning, but you get used to it and it actually gets pretty fun later on. The zombies can get a bit repetitive after a while, but what zombie games doesn't get repetitive?
Alternatively, Yakuza 3 is my least favorite of the games. Regardless, if you enjoyed Yakuza 4, it's definitely worth going back and playing the rest of the series.

Little disappointed by the graphics, thought they'd be better going to the new engine and all. Combat is more fluid tho.
As I expected, graphics are not that different from 3 and 4 overall. Better animations and lighting, but some really ugly low-res textures. And what were they thinking with that water shader?
I liked how the Kyabakura conversations are fully voiced now, makes that mode a lot more appealing.

You could do that before but, I now for a fact they took it out of yakuza 4 i don't remember 3? Also it's cool that bumping into some people start fights now. XD
Yakuza 3 also has a cute puppy and Rikiya's pretty awesome, as well.
So when they both die, the game dies along with them.

Agreed on the music and the fight itself from a pure gameplay standpoint. Everything leading up to that boss fight was also great, it's just the fact that the final boss was the final boss that was really underwhelming.

You know one thing that has always bugged me? Each game has that opening chime at the main menu and named sort of appropriately to the game. At least the first two were. The first one was "Roar of the Dragon" and the second was "Roar of the Twin Dragons". Should be obvious who these are referring to. Now Yakuza 3 is "Roar of the Dragon God". So... who is that referring to? Kiryu (did he level up? lol), maybe
, or
? Or maybe it means nothing. Btw, 4's is Roarless Dragon which I'm not sure means anything either. No idea what's the deal with Kenzen or of the End.

It's a nasty habit I have, for some reason my subconscious assumes it's a very minor spoiler, but usually when I look I find out the ending of a game I've yet to finish or how someone dies etc lol.

And his voice actor isn't the same. If Majima is still alive then I doubt that they'll spoil it by showing him before the game is released.

It looks really horrible, really noticeable in the cutscene with the two guys at the end of the demo. The first part of Binary Domain(same engine i think?) also had really shitty water. At least the lighting looks like a nice improvement over Y4.

Me too. I think it's a great demo. It did make me want the game immediately.The ending really made me want to see what happens next.
