The thing with Amazon trade ins is that they judge pretty harshly. I got an item marked down $30 because I didn't include the one page manual in the box. Luckily the thing was worth even less than what they gave me. You have to select "return item; don't downgrade conditions" so you don't get screwed. It's very easy to miss that one scratch or not include that one item that will keep your trade in from the top quality condition.

For most people, square gate > octo gate for pretty much every motion. People (usually) only prefer octo gates when they think they should be riding the gates. Then they realize they shouldn't be riding the gates anyway.

Got my 137 in amazon credit today. No problems at all. I even had opened the stick once so the warranty sticker was gone.

I put it back in the original box and made sure to box it up right.

I would do it.

Also, Now I can get 30 dollars off a dualshock 4 because of the current promotion.

Essentially I got 167 for a stick I paid 150 for 3 years ago.

I decided to do the right thing and replace my dualstrike pcb in my modded TE stick for PS3, as I don't own a PS3, and get a X360 pcb.

So does anyone have a xbox 360 padhack they want to sell? Or know if they sell the PS360+ pcb anywhere in EU?

decided to order the paradise arcade button silencers and a pink balltop for my sanrio stick.

has anyone tried the the paradise arcade silencers, and are they essentially the same material as what is used in the sanwa buttons?

They feel pretty much the same, yeah. I personally don't like any of them as they make the buttons feel too mushy for my tastes, but hopefully they'll work for you.

ShinobiFist is very sad :( I cannot find my arcade sticks since I put them in storage at my mothers...And now, I can't find a TTT2 arcade stick by Madcatz...That's my favorite stick next to the VSHG. I would get the SCV from Madcatz, but not sure if I can replace the plastic bezel.

For those who like Korean sticks, I was trying to research stuff about the parts Green Game Land arcade uses since they are sorta different from the usual Myoungshin and Crown parts. Here is a detailed picture of the parts.

nh9fGgTl.jpg

From what I tried with Nin's stick at EVO, they had a distinguishable feel. The buttons were clicky similar to American buttons but not as springy and the lever felt like a mix between both Myoungshin and Crown CWJ-303N levers. From what Hoodaman told me just earlier today, they are made one of the owners exclusive to the arcade and not for sale unfortunately. What was interesting is that from a past Wednesday Night Fights, Tekken player KOFTekken had the same exact parts.

So I guess I have to save up just to get my hands on them again...

I'm gonna score me some of those parts to see if there really is a diff. Going out with laugh while I'm in Seoul.

comes out this week, anyone ordered this thing? (quite expensive lol)

Oh yeah!

Post some pics when convenient! It really is a very unique stick. Kinda has the raised-button faceplate change like the TE2, no?

Gaudy, yes. But I'd love to have that in my collection (as well as that cool TGS limited). But no monies as I spent too much this year.

KI stick is my next! Early November it seems so that I get to look at it for two weeks before playing!

why doesnt my dual modded madcatz TE-s work on the steam version of SSF4 AE? It works perfect on my 360/PS3 and I even tested it on the same computer with GGPO and it works on that too. it seems to only be SSF4... what could be the problem? I'm on Windows 8.1 (dualbooted on an iMac) btw..

Just got my HRAP for 360 and for some reason it feels a lot better than my SFxT stick I have already despite having the same parts.

The buttons feel a lot springier and closer to my eightarc. I was confused how stiff the buttons felt when I first got the SFxT stick, and am glad I no longer have to deal with it.

Though the joystick spacing is further away than I'm used to, I'll get used to it.

Which HRAP do you have? I remember my original HRAP EX I imported back in 2008 had Hori buttons. The newer "V" ones have Sanwa or Seimitsu buttons though. Fighting Edge uses Hori buttons again.

What multi-console board are you using? If you are using a Toodles Kitty, then you might have to use controller input software like Xpadder and register stick inputs onto the software which will translate to keyboard. The select method should work too.

Ah nice. I think every grader has their own style. Some I'll send it and they'll get downgraded for no reason. Others I'll send it and they'll get upgraded even though they have no right to be upgraded lol. Awesome for you though!

You can replace the plastic bezel on the MadCatz stick.

But I really like my original MvC stick.

Plus the box is awesome.

Picked these up 2 for 150 total during a sale a couple years ago. I run a bi-weekly pub quiz here in town - tiebreakers are settled via Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat.

Those two sticks have gotten a LOT of run. :)

is it just me, but when it comes to buttons (mainly sanwa) the plastic color affects the feel a bit...

It's probably just a mental thing, but I sometimes feel the same way. Blacks and whites especially feel different to me, but logically I know that it couldn't possibly make a difference.

^ It just to me that whites and black sanwas feel a bit "softer" and less "SLAPPY sounding haha... probably just imagination yeah.

long time coming when it came to this stick, mainly because i couldn't decide for the longest time, what parts to put in it.
But After HORI's failed project, the AX S+G, i decided to go that route since we'll never have that stick i guess, with a Seimitsu Lever and Sanwa OBSF+30RG buttons.
Results are great imo, this is my go-to shmup stick now. (I still love HRAP EX-SE's though :p)

PS360+ PCB, Seimitsu LS-32, Sanwa OBSN-30RG's, HORI Yellow recessed start button, 2nd Player Astro City color scheme!
These buttons are so good feeling.
yes, i drilled holes and put chrome mini buttons (Select/Back and Home) on the "sega saturn" metallic label, i think that spot is better rather than ruining the white plastic shell at the back. chrome buttons 'blend nicely' haha. (not really)

Porn!

EX-SE will always forever be my favorite. But the big Saturn is awesome.

Love seeing the over-the-top-ness of converting it to a one-player shooter CP!

Installed the paradise arcade silencers on my Sanrio stick. Took a few minutes to get used to, but my gf and dogs appreciate the added quietness. I think ill end up getting another set for my q4 now.

Is there anyway I can make my pc recognize my mc Cthulhu stick as an xinput device by default? I think it thinks it's a ps3 stick/generic USB stick because the guide button never works when connected to a PC. It works on both my 360 and my ps3. And the guide button works on my pc with a 360 controller..

I want to sell my stick to partially fund my PS4 purchase.

I'm kind of tight on money at the moment, but I don't know what a good asking price would be.

It's a Special Edition of the Qanba Q4RAF by ArcadeShock

http://www.arcadeshock.com/items/qa...stick-sky-blue-sa-q4-3in1skybluesa-detail.htm

I bought this like 5 months ago and it's barely used. Stick is complete. Original box, padding, manuals, etc, I have everything that came with it.

Anyone have an idea of what this thing would go for? Was thinking $160 taking a $30 loss but It's hard to say. Maybe ExpertGAF can offer their advice?
