A defence I'd like to here is why you said that Ultron's role claim was the "exact same thing" as what yours said, despite his being allegedly paraphrased due to the rules against direct quoting. This was highlighted by Boo Boo'n a few pages back too. Was it just a bad choice of wording on your part?

As I said a while back, scum highlighting themselves in such a way on day 1 would have been a really poor move, which makes it seem an unlikely possibility. But then that could just be down to you being new.

He's the one that claimed first, as a new player I can see Xam seeing the claim and immediately thinking he's a fellow town-aligned sleepwalker and blurting that out.

The anti-town nature of claiming sleepwalker immediately up front has been discussed, Xam just reads to me as an unfortunate innocent caught in the crossfire. He definitely hasn't helped himself with most of his play sheeping me and his unfortunate end right now where he refuses to offer a real defense though.

Also Ultron hasn't really contributed. Though the same could be said last game, and he was a SK.

I don't like Ultron currently.

I guess checking the sleepwalkerclaim is worth it, the role is not going help in the long run after the claim, and there is the possibility he is in fact, lying. Xam's play has been anti-town so far, helping scum far more than town.

I kinda have the problem with this, since why Ultron the scum would claim sleepwalker first? I doubt there is a scum sleepwalker (if there is, I'll curse Palmer to the depths of oblivion), and potentially sacrificing one of the scum team just to get a counterclaim of another sleepwalker would be... quite stupid from team scum.

But I agree, ultron has been really quiet and not contributed much at all, which is odd...

I don't know if he's scum, just of a choice between the two sleepwalkers I'd kill him.

I don't really see Cabot suggesting that? The benefit to scum in claiming sleepwalker is it gives them an excuse when town trackers see them moving around.

Rats made the suggestion that it was to draw a counterclaim, but that was a couple of days ago

Cabot suggested that Ultron was more suspicious, than Xamtheking so I just thought out the different possibilities why Ultron the scum might claim sleepwalker. Yeah, cabot didn't suggest those by himself.

I'm keeping my vote on Xam. Essentially lying about his PR by going off of what Ultron said and admitting it near the end is a hell of a red flag.

I guess my vote on Lollipop Dave won't do anything right now. People will come around sooner or later, though.

For now, I'd rather see Ultron lynched than Xam, because the former makes me more wary than the latter.

Okay, read through all Ultron's posts once more, there was not lot of them.

- I still think his reasoning to claim sleepwalker is flawed, it's not the same as miller. It's kind of a weird thing.
- Why do you believe Xam is telling the truth, Ultron? I believed it, because I don't think a new player would make a scumplan like that from a while, but what was your reasoning?
- Do you think scumteam is going to save scum-Darryl this visibly? A wise scum-team would more likely bus him, and gather some good guy points, the Scum team must be big enough, that saving one member is not worth exposing many others.

Hmmh.

I still feel Xam is the more suspicious of the two sleepwalker-claims, after reading Ultron's posts, even though those did raise some questions. I'm going to keep my vote with Xam, I don't think Ultron would claim sleepwalker as a scum, and I doubt there is a scum sleepwalker.
