Yes certainly the 360 delay will focus Titanfall interest even more squarely on the XB1. I don't however believe there will be a TF bundle though as I'd think we'd hear more about it by now. I think like mort suggested it was likely prototyped but cancelled.

Doubtful. I think we're going to see PS4 lead by a small margin. PS4 was not constrained as much in Jan as it was in Dec. That's just pure holiday-period logic. It was also available at major retailers more frequently throughout the month. Definitely leaning towards a PS4 month.

They already did it once in Japan, a Direct at the same time Famitsu releases their sales. Can't remember when exactly or if sales were so bad for them to warrant such thing.

There were signs of the WiiU impending doom in Nov./Dec. 2012 sales numbers: the software sales were ridiculously low. There are no such signs for the PS4 and XBone as they are both software moving beasts right out of the gate.

Reminds me of the 3rd place game of the World Cup. Pressure for 1st place is gone so both teams just have fun. Its usually a very good game to watch.

Definitely, I still remember being completely confused for a while and I'm someone who follows the games industry. I can't imagine how confused more casual gamers were

I still have the texts from my friend describing it. He was at the reveal, and I was wandering the show floor.

I didn't understand what he was saying, mostly because I think he didn't understand either. And then it was over. NO ONE was excited talking about it. They were bewildered.

Contrast that to the Wii reveal, which was the sole reason EA threatened to leave E3, which triggered the whole "Santa Monica Airport" years.

The original Wii was so interesting and exciting, that Nintendo's booth was jam packed with people excited to try it out.

The Wii U had none of that.

Part of it is the good old console war, yes, but I'm more interested in PS4 and XBO sales after the holidays, regardless of which is on top.
