Xbox One February update is rolling out

Yes, now there is no sharpen filter, and the game's antialiasing is visible :)

I'll try to do some screens.

BTW, the update took 15 minutes at 350-400 kb/s, so I'll say it's near 250 MB as I download 1 GB per hour.

I started Ghosts and it felt different. I didn't see the sharpening anymore. Came in here and saw this post. Looks like it wasn't just my imagination.

I'd be curious to know if they can fix the delay in gaming via HDMI in.

How big is the delay? I have only two HDMI inputs on the TV, for the PC, 360 and the One. Of course the 360 is now disconnected, as I don't use it much, but I thought of plugging it through the One. Are games unplayable this way?

I might just test this with RockBand's calibration.

They weren't lying about the special surprise, thank goodness the sharpening filter is gone!

Have they mentioned when they will update xbox music to run in the background?

I'm sure of it, the sharpening filter is gone and there's been a boost to GPU power available to games. It must be, at least I remember DR3 having a worse framerate than it currently has.

We had those same reports on DR3's frame rate after that 13 Gb update. Turned out it was fucking nothing. Unless you have hard data to back up that claim I call it placebo.

From what I've seen I would deem most games unplayable.

I can confirm: SHARPENING FILTER IS GONE.

Everything is noticeably softer.

Very playable, I use it all the time. I think it depends on your TV if it's enough to push the total input lag over the edge for you to become noticeable.
how do i only have 179gb of 500? i only have one digital game does anyone else have unbelievable space used up?
Don't forget physical games ;) And you only have 391.9GB available to use.

That's possible, it's been awhile since I last played DR3. Looking forward to someone testing it and see if my feeling is correct or if my mind is screwing with me.

PICTURES ASAP!!
I don't know how to take any that anyone will appreciate. You'll all see very soon. It's just completely gone. KI looks better, but again everything is a bit softer for it. That is, not crisp. I think I would have preferred something half way between what it was and is now...but I'd definitely take this over what it was. The jaggies don't stand out nearly as much, the black crush is gone....yea, I can get used to this. :-D

Sharpening filter really fixed? We need pictures dammit!
If by "fixed" you mean "removed", then yes it was.

This is lies. You could play stuff like Rock Band with it, but it utterly destroys an awful lot of faster games.
