two abilities with cooldown reduction, some shield goodness, firey steed. aww yiss.

Also considering a variant that uses phalanx and bombard instead of condemn+ akarat, and uses the passive that boosts steed, phlanax, and bombard.

I like it. Need more non hammer builds! While yours isn't necessarily all in on fire, I did see some fire crusader builds in beta doing similar things. Need to see if I can find them.

I keep whipping up builds based on certain items. Was trying to devise a pure ranged build that used nothing but holy damage. This is what I came up with:

Suggested legendaries:

Fate of the Fell
Eberli Charo
Armor of the Kind Regent

Then go full on +Holy dmg rolls on everything else.

Smite for wrath/fist to dump it. Judge packs at range to lock them in, then activate the law for the bonus 100% crit dmg and drop Heaven's Fury. Steed is just there to have some mobility as this build doesn't take any survivability nor need to get into melee range at all.

Fucking sucks, had they had that crap in at launch Id be riding high at 250 paragon or some shit man.

I don't think that will work. It's not enough to be level 60, you'll need the gear to be able to survive Torment. My DH can currently solo Act 1 of Torment 1 and possibly even Torment 2, but I haven't tried. I'm going off what someone posted earlier, but according to them that should be sufficient to powerlevel someone else.

I like doing the very first quest, the fallen star, from the checkpoint. meet the guard at the gate, then run old tristram road. clear the whole thing, including old tristram. check each cellar that spawns as there is usually chest/elites inside.

I was paragon 130 when 2.0 hit. I played a ton before this patch. People that were paragon 20 have passed me. It is what it is man.

Me too. I'm going to scrap my lowbies and just start new ones. But I'm wondering what happens to the monster levels as you progress through, since I imagine first 30-40 levels going by in a flash. I don't think I can mess with a level 50 elite on Torment 6.

That's how I look at it too. It's a test of endurance, not speed. I think I'll be one of the highest plvl people in the clan, it's just gonna take me a few years because I go at my own pace, but, I'll still be playing a couple years from now when our OT is like 10 active people again (and I wasn't even that active in the last one, but something something medical problems).

I have a friend who didn't even have a level 60 char before the patch and he has almost caught up to my plvl, but, it doesn't bother me cause I know he will only play a couple of months after release then probably not come back until the next expansion or whatever (assuming there is another). I will keep my Barbarian twirling in circles till my grave!

I dunno about 45 minutes, but its scary fast to level now. Put a ruby in my level 20 witch doctors weapon and I was level 42 before I blinked while playing torment. Equipped a -18 require level weapon and screamed up to like 54 or so even faster. Im pretty sure you can start a character and hit max level before killing Diablo even once if you have exp gems during this event.

How long? You mean how long Act 5 is supposed to be?

It's said to be around the same length as Act 2.

Act 5 is not very long, but the end game is all bounties and rifts.

Nah it's multiplicative meaning it's essentially a 2x experience boost.
